Lithological interpretation is one of the important directions in the application of remote sensing geology.Rocks are aggregates of minerals,and are formed by different internal and external dynamic geology.Terrain factors are used as quantitative index parameters to describe the geometric characteristics of DEM digital terrain surface.Quantitative lithology classification based on terrain factors.This article simulates regular digital terrain surface based on mathematical functions.From the perspective of lithological geological significance,this paper analyzes the geological significance of multiple topographic factors and their described topographic features,and establishes the geological significance correlation between topographic factors and lithology.Guilin,Guangxi-Yangshuo,Xingcheng,Liaoning,and Tengchong,Yunnan are used as research areas.Using 12 topographic factors such as elevation,slope,curvature,and surface roughness,based on analysis of variance and cluster analysis,focus on topographic factors and lithology.Based on factor analysis method,study the dominant factors in the lithology classification process,determine the appropriate lithology classification method,and then achieve rapid quantification of lithology based on digital terrain analysis Classification provides a reference for intelligent lithological interpretation.The research results are as follows:1.Mathematical functions are used to simulate regular digital terrain surfaces,analyze the geological significance of terrain factors,and use quantitative analysis of variance and pedigree clustering analysis methods to quantitatively study the relationship between lithology and terrain factors.It is confirmed that there is significant correlation between lithology and terrain factors,and regional lithology classification can be carried out based on terrain factors.At the same time,due to the differences of rock types and climatic environment in different study areas,the distinguishability of terrain factors to lithologic types is different.Generally,there is a small distance within the same lithology,and there is a large difference between different lithology groups,that is,the effectiveness of terrain factors and lithology.2.Based on the factor analysis method,the results show that in the process of using terrain factor in lithologic classification,it is mainly affected by the two factors of terrain complexity and surface curvature,and considering elevation as the basic data of calculating terrain factors,the identification index of lithologic terrain features is constructed based on this,including the macro terrain complexity index(MTI),micro curvature Index(MCI)and elevation Index(EI).The selected lithology samples are classified based on the constructed lithology identification index,which is highly consistent with the actual lithology,indicating that the index construction is reasonable,so as to realize the digital description of terrain and morphology and quantitative classification of lithology,which is an intelligent lithology solution.Translation for reference.
