Micro-/nanofibers(MNF)have very low loss and large evanescent field,and have different nonlinear and dispersion characteristics from ordinary single mode fibers.These properties make the micro-/nanofiber have potential application value in quantum optics,nonlinear optics,optical sensing,optical modulation,optical amplification and so on,and also attract the attention of many scholars.Based on the characteristics and fabrication methods of micro-/nanofiber,this paper mainly discusses the application of micro-/nanofiber in two aspects:1.Dispersion management in mode-locked fiber laser;2.Fabrication and research of micro ring resonator.The following is the main work of this paper:1.A set of taper pulling system is built.It can realize the fabrication of micro-/nanofibers with a tapered waist diameter less than 500 nm and a tapered waist length greater than 160 mm with high repeatability,which has good uniformity,and within 0.2 dB insertion loss.In addition,the taper process is modeled by MATLAB,and the corresponding relationship between the taper parameters and the micro nano fiber is established.2.The dissipative soliton pulse output with short cavity length is realized by using the large normal dispersion of micro-/nanofiber.Firstly,the mode field of micro-/nanofiber is simulated by COMSOL,and the dispersion parameter curves of different diameter micro-/nanofiber are obtained.Secondly,the single-walled carbon nanotube(SWCNT)mode-locked fiber laser is built,and 0.695±0.06 ?m,0.852±0.06?m 0.896±0.06 ?m diameter micro-/nanofiber are connected into the ring resonator of the fiber laser.By adjusting the cavity length,the dissipative soliton pulse,stretch pulse and conventional soliton pulse output are realized.3.In order to study the performance of micro ring resonator,the model of micro-/nanofiber knot resonator(MKR)is established,and the electric field distribution inside and outside the resonator is simulated by COMSOL.Secondly,MKR is fabricated by using electric displacement platform,Free Spectral Range(FSR)of single loop MKR can be adjusted by micro-/nano operation,and the Q value is about 14000.Finally,the transmission spectrum of double ring micro knot resonator is simulated and studied by MATLAB.
