Different rock ores in the earth's crust have different induced polarization effects. In order to improve the accuracy of the interpretation of the results of the induced polarization method,it is necessary to further study the induced electric effect of natural rock ores.Scholars at home and abroad to characterize the polarization effect of the rock ore response rule 12 IP model is put forward, the model is proposed in this have no the same experimental conditions and validation method,so the differences between the model accuracy occurs on the practical application,so to improve the accuracy of detection,to find the applicability of the model and the best application condition is very necessaryFirstly, the author summarizes 12 kinds of excitation models proposed by scholars at home and abroad, and gives corresponding analog equivalent circuits and their corresponding complex resistivity expressions. Then, the cole-cole model,Dias model,Debye model,Madden and Cantwell model,War Burg model,Generalized cole-cole model,multi-cole-cole model and 7 kinds of common IP models with exact mathematical expressions are simulated forward, and the influence of each parameter on amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum is summarized systematically. The spectrum of rock samples from different lithology was measured and the phase spectrum of various rock ores was analyzed. Finally,an inverse fitting program based on differential evolution algorithm was developed to simulate and combine the measured phase spectrum curves of the samples to calculate the fitting differences of the 7 models.By means of the fitting differences and the fitting degree between the fitting curve and the measured curve, the usage degree of various rock ore samples was summarized, and the applicable scope of the 7 IP models was obtained.Through the above research,it is found that the influence of each parameter in the same model on the phase spectrum curve is different, and the influence of the same parameter in different models on the phase spectrum is roughly the same, mainly in the peak, the position of the wave peak, and the symmetry of the peak-width front.Through the inversion fitting experiment of the spectrum curves of 35 rock ores,it is found that the Mutil cole-cole model can well fit most rock ore samples. For the measured phase spectrum curve is a bimodal curve,it can be seen from the fitting curve that only Dias model and Mutil cole-cole model can produce the fitting bimodal curve. When fitting single peak mineral,cole-cole model and Generalized-cole-cole model have small root-mean-square error and the measured spectrum curve are similar, but the complex cole-cole model with product form is not as accurate as the few parameters,so it can be used in some cases. The Debye model,Madden and Cantwell model, and Warburg model have a large influence on the rock ore model due to the frequency correlation coefficient c,and the fitting difference is large,so it is not suitable for inversion.
