Copper is one of the most important strategic reserve resources and mineral resources in China.China's economy is at a critical stage of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading,which remains the high demand for copper.The Emba Derho copper polymetallic mine in Eritrea is located in the Arab-Nubian ground shield.The ore body is present in massive sulfide and has abundant resources.This thesis relies on the "Asmara Polymetallic Mine" project of Sichuan Road and Bridge Mining Investment and Development Co.,Ltd.Through detailed verification of the geological prospecting data of the mining area and resource quantity,research of ore dressing and smelting property,of the technical conditions of the mining operation and of the development and utilization plan,the thesis carry out the analysis of the social benefits and market prospects of project development,and evaluation of the economic feasibility of the project.Field investigation and verification of the exploration engineering of the Emba Derho deposit in site,combined with comprehensive indoor supplementary identification and comprehensive research on the results of previous surveys,it is believed that the deposit floor of this deposit is sericite green mud schist with the remnant of porphyry rhyolite,flow breccia and felsic clastic tuff.The mineralized zone is composed of multiple layers of dense disseminated-massive sulfide ore,tuffaceous and lava intercalations and barite layer while the roof is composed of pillow basalt and shaped volcanic breccia stratum with obvious epidotization-silicification.The ore body controlled is in the shape of a scoop-shaped capsule.The ore body is 1250 m long and 850 m wide,and the maximum control depth is about 500 m.The ore texture is mainly of allotriomorphic granular texture and metasomatic texture,followed by net texture and containing texture etc.The main body of the ore structure is massive structure,partly disseminated structure.Ore mineral are mainly chalcopyrite,sphalerite,galena and pyrite,and we also can see a small amount of porphyrite.Thus it comes to the conclusion that Emba Derho deposite is kuroko massive sulfide deposit.The total amount of ore in the mining boundary is 181,208 kt,the amount of ore is 54,535 kt,the average grade Cu=0.63%,Zn=1.63%,Au=0.27g/t,and Ag=9.03g/t,in which there are 1,812 kt of oxidized ore,1,616 kt of secondary sulfide and 51,107 kt of primary ore.The total investment of the project is 663,733 thousand dollars,of which the initial investment(construction investment)is 556,614 thousand dollars.The reaching design acpacity annual average total cost(including tax)of the mining area is 129,664 thousand dollars.According to the production scale of 4 million tons per year of Emba Derho copper polymetallic ore and 17 years of service,after recalculating the economic evaluation results are: financial internal rate of return(after tax)is 15.13%,and financial net present value(after tax)is 258,537 thousands dollars,and the payback period(after tax)is 7.25 years,including the four-year construction period.The total profit of the mine is 1,471,632 thousand dollars,and the net profit is 1,049,731 thousand dollars.The project is economically viable.The project is a profitable project and has a certain ability to resist risks and solvency.
