Preparation And Properties Of Heat Resistant Anticorrosive Coatings For Ships

Epoxy resins is a hot spot of modern disciplines,which involves many aspects.It has a major significance in corrosion resistant marine coatings.Research scholars arouse great concern.Firstly,we prepare the furan resin which has good heat resistance,acid and alkali resistance.We study the effect of the reaction temperature,the reaction time and the reaction ratio of raw materials on the synthesis of furan resin.and get the best reaction temperature,time and ratio of raw materials for easy modification process.Furan resin which we have prepared was characterized by a series of methods such as IR and NMR.The results show that we have successfully prepared furan resin.We respectively use KH-550 and epoxy F-51 to modify furan resin,and the modified resins were characterized by IR and NMR to prove that we have successfully obtained modified furan resin.Then,we respectively mix two modified furan resin with epoxy E-51,and discuss the mixing temperature and time.The results show that the best temperature and time of mixed KH-550 modified furan resin with epoxy E-51 is 120℃ and 60min,and the best temperature and time of mixed epoxy F-51 modified furan resin with epoxy E-51 is 100℃ and 30min.We research the mixing ratio of two modified furan resin with epoxy E-51 in optimum mixing temperature and time,respectively,which the ratio is 3:1;2:1;1:1;1:2;1:3.And each group of mixture is tested in film properties,chemical resistance and mechanical properties.The results show that the best overall condition of the mixing ratio of KH-550 modified furan resin with epoxy E-51 is 1:2,and the best overall condition of the mixing ratio of epoxy F-51 modified furan resin with epoxy E-51 is 1:1.Finally,we compare two kinds of mixed resins with epoxy E-51 in film properties,chemical resistance and mechanical properties,and detect the surface morphology of them by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and analyze their heat resistance by thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA).According to the relevant standard measurement method of the coating resin,the results show:the mixed resins in chemical resistance,mechanical properties and heat resistance are much better than epoxy E-51.
