Research On The Logistics Solutions Optimization Of Multimodal Transport Of WengFu Group

Wengfu Group is a large-scale state-owned phosphorus chemical enterprise,whose supply logistics and distribution logistics rely on rail transport for a long time,resulting in rising logistics costs in recent years,combined with industry overcapacity,homogeneity,market competition and other factors,which make Wengfu Group pay close attention to controlling the logistics costs.At the same time,the " Multimodal Transport Project " has been listed as the first of the 12 key projects in the Long-term Planning of Logistics Industry Development(2014-2020)due to its low cost,a through-bill-of-freight coverage and convenient operation and the like.Therefore,this paper,focused on Wengfu Group,makes an optimal study of bringing its existing logistics solution to multimodal transport.The paper makes a comprehensive and systematic study of the status of logistics enterprises through analyzing Wengfu Group’s corporate profile,status quo of enterprise sales logistics and distribution regions,enterprise logistics network nodes and mode of transport,enterprise logistics management and so on.Then conclusion is drawn that there exists problems,such as,“the imbalance between production and marketing and unreasonable division of distribution area”;“the single logistics mode and low effectiveness in controlling logistics costs”;“disordered logistics organization and the difficulty in integrating its own resources” and so on.According to the existing problems,using the solutions to the problem of unbalanced production-marketing in operational research,the paper gives an optimal study of the regional distribution problem of the production and marketing of DAP(diammonium phosphate---the typical product of Wengfu Group),solving the problem of “the imbalance between production and marketing and unreasonable division of distribution area”.And it can be found that only the goods from production bases of Sichuan and Guizhou provinces to the northeast are suitable for multimodal transport.Then,based on the foregoing conclusion,the paper makes a path selection of the multimodal transport solution of Sichuan and Guizhou provinces,coming to alternative solutions to the multimodal transport of these two bases.By using ENTROPY—TOPSIS to build a mathematical model for getting the optimal solution to the multimodal transport,the paper secondly solves the problem of “the single logistics mode and low effectiveness in controlling logistics costs”.Finally,to solve the problem of “disordered logistics organization and the difficulty in integrating its own resources”,the paper proposes a solution that Wengfu Group should reintegrate and optimize its logistics functions by using the form of organizational functions,that is,“company plus departments,two brands and one set of troops”,so as to ensure the successful implementation of the multimodal transport program.Through the research of this paper,it is expected that Wengfu Group may get certain theoretical references for its logistics strategic planning,to reduce its logistics costs,and improve its logistics efficiency.
