Drug electronic supervision code is the logo that the Chinese government conferred to the pharmaceutical package for implementation of drug electronic monitoring.It is able to determine the authenticity of drugs and achieve retrospective quality and tracking.But in the actual printing process drug electronic supervision code will appear a variety of quality issues due to the impact of printing machinery precision and other factors.And the traditional barcode defect detection methods have been unable to meet the need of actual production as electronic monitoring code is essentially the variable data printing,so this paper aims to seek a new way to automatically detect drug electronic supervision code defects.By analyzing the pros and cons of various detection methods,we ultimately determine the approach combined machine vision technology,image processing technology with the technology of automatically identify electronic supervision code to study drug electronic supervision code defect detection system.Firstly the article analyzes the research status and development trends of machine vision technology in domestic and abroad and summarizes the characteristics and applications of machine vision technology.Secondly we determine hardware systems,such as light,industrial cameras,optical lens and image acquisition card and so on according to the characteristics and requirements of the sample to be tested and build a hardware platform for drug electronic supervision code defect detection system based on machine vision technology.The topic uses image graying and histogram equalization to enhance image contrast and median filtering noise reduction and image binarization to complete image preprocessing and complete electronic supervision code printing defect detection by calling the related operators of HALCON.The paper proposes a new way based on the edge detection to decode the non-printing defects of electronic supervision code and finally determine whether drug electronic supervision code can be readable and correct combined with the find_bar_code operator.Finally,the topic exports the corresponding program code of HALCON,using Visual Studio 2010 adding controls and the associated correlation algorithm to carry out the package of software system and realized the drug electronic supervision code defect detection.
