With the accelerated pace of offshore oil development, compact electrostatic coalescence equipment,as well as high frequency / high voltage AC pulse power supply, possesses highly academic research value because of its wide application prospect. The thesis designed a novel tube electrostatic coalescence equipment with introduction of spiral electrode. From two angles of the emulsion flow state and the electrostatic coalescence characteristics of the water particles, the feasibility of the spiral flow channel electrostatic coalescer is studied based on three aspects of the micro, meso and macro advanced numerical simulation software, such as ANSYS Maxwell and ANSYS Fluent, and advanced testing instruments and equipment such as Turbiscan and FBRM are applied to the study. At the micro level: the deformation and movement characteristics of the water particles in the sloping plate non uniform electric field are explored by the microscopic experiments for the electric field distribution of the spiral blade electrode, and the experimental results are compared with the experimental results under the toroidal non-uniform electric field and the uniform electric field, the experimental results showed that the characteristics of the water particles in the sloping plate non uniform is similar to uniform electric field, although high frequency suppresses droplets deformation amplitude but increase the oil-water interfacial film vibration frequency obviously; At the mesoscopic level: Optimal electrical parameters for the inquiry is studied based on a variety of crude oil emulsion. The experimental results showed that high frequency can avoid electric short circuit and reduce energy consumption of equipment compared with 50 Hz.Explored the effect of different operating conditions on the particle size distribution of water droplets as well as other basic characteristics in the process of preparing W/O type simulation emulsion, emulsifier content 7g/L and shear speed 8000r/min are the final choice, which provide heoretical guidance for the follow-up of electric demulsification experiments; At the macro level: the effects of different electrode structures on the distribution of electric field and the flow field characteristics of emulsion were studied, for the reasonable design and manufacture of electrostatic collector test prototype.high frequency / high voltage AC pulse power to carry out dynamic experimental study on demulsification and dehydration based on the final feasibility of helical blade electrode. The experimental results show that spiral electrode has higher demulsification efficiency compared to the plate electrode, and high frequency also show good adaptability in the case of electrode without insulation. Finally verified the feasibility of the spiral blade electrode based on the study of dynamic experimental with using high frequency power. The research results reveal the advantages of high frequency / high voltage pulse AC electric field from different aspects, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the spiral flow channel electrostatic coalesce are verified, which lay a solid foundation for the production scale-up design and realization of industrial applications.
