| China is a big country with large coal production.Large-scale and long-term coal mining results in the massive accumulation of its associated mineral coal gangue on the surface of the mine.Under the action of leaching,weathering,and spontaneous combustion,trace elements that are present in coal gangue can be precipitated into the supergeneous environment,thereby creating potential ecological risks.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the distribution and pollution degree of trace elements in the supernatural environment around the coal mine for the ecological environment protection and treatment around the coal mine.This study uses the Xinzhuangzi Coal Mine as a research area.The trace element trace elements in coal gangue,soil,water body,soybean and alfalfa were tested by ICP-MS,ICP-OES and XRF.The distribution characteristics and homology of trace elements in different media were discussed.A variety of mathematical models were used to evaluate the level of trace elements pollution,potential ecological hazards and health risks.The main achievements are as follows:(1)The content of Mn and Cr in coal gangue of Xinzhuangzi Coal Mine is relatively high.Trace elements in coal gangue show the distribution characteristics of waist>top>bottom.(2)The horizontal distribution rule of trace elements in soil is strong,and a relatively high degree of enrichment is formed near two locations in the vicinity of the Yanshi Mountain and some distance from the coal gangue pile.The content of trace elements in shallow soil in vertical direction is generally higher than that in deep soil.The evaluation results indicated that the trace elements in the soil were mild or non-polluting,and the potential ecological hazards of Cd element formation needed attention.(3)The contents of trace elements in the collapse ponds were generally low,and the Mn and Cr elements were higher in some locations.Pb,Cr and Cu exhibited good homology in water.Trace elements Cr in water have a high risk of carcinogenic health and require attention.(4)Soybean Zn,Pb,and Mn are enriched in leaves,and Cr,Ni,V,Cd,and Cu are enriched in roots.The main source of Cd,Ni,Cr,V and Cu in soybean is gangue.The main source of Zn,Pb and Mn may be agricultural activities.Trece elements in soybean seeds are less polluting.(5)Zn and Cd have a certain degree of enrichment in the body of earthworms.The distribution patterns of Cr,V and Ni in the carp were similar,with the lowest values mostly appearing at 600m from the coal gangue pile.The main source of Zn and Cd in the earthworms may be coal gangue pile.The pollution assessment indicated that the Zn and Cd elements in the pupa have a high degree of pollution. |
