With the reduction of petrochemical resource, researchers are paying more attention to sustainable and environmentally friendly renewable energy.Among these, the production of butanol, acetone and ethanol by fermentation of Clostridium butyricum has great prospects. However, the cost limits development of the fermentation. In this paper, bacterial adsorpbent and glucose molecular imprinting material were prepared and applied in both fermentation and substrate hydrolysis to optimize the fermentation process.First, the fermentation process was optimized to determine the optimum fermentation conditions. When the glucose concentration was 65 g/L,the initial pH of the fermentation broth was about 5,and the bacteria after the heat shock, the results of fermentation was the best. The yield of butanol was 7.1 g/L,and 34%higher than that of conventional fermentation. Then,a gas phase method for rapid detection of fermentation products was established.Using n-propanol as the internal standard, the concentration of product in fermentation broth was determined using Shimadzu GC-8A.Second,the bacteria adsorbents and glucose molecularly imprinted gels were prepared and their preparation conditions were explored. The results showed that when 10 mL of the strain solution,8 g/L calcium chloride,0.6 g sodium alginate, and 1.2:1 dispersant to water were used, the adsorbent exhibited the best adsorption performance. When the ratio of functional monomer to template molecule was 4:1,the amount of crosslinking agent was 110 mg,the maximum amount of blotting was 73 mg/mL.Finally,in order to reduce the toxic effects of the excess product butanol and pretreated lignocellulose hydrolyzate on the growth of the strain, the above-mentioned synthetic bacteria adsorbents and imprinted gels were used in butanol fermentation and hydrolyzate enrichment, respectively. The results showed that the yield of butanol in in situ fermentation was 10.8 g/L,which increased nearly 54.3%.The yield of butanol in the fed-batch fermentation was 17.4 g/L,which was 2.5 times higher than that of the normal fermentation,61.1%higher than that of the in situ extraction fermentation. The fermented hydrogel was used to enrich the sugar in the hydrolyzate and applied to the fermentation of butanol. The yield of butanol was 54.2%of the normal fermentation, the fermentation result was acceptable, considering inhibition effects from hydrolyzed products and solvents. When the blot was eluted and then readsorbed, the adsorbent still showed good adsorption capacity.
