The governance of atamospheric pollution is one of the hot topics for researchers in recent years.Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are a common atmospheric pollutant.This paper uses volatile organics-toluene as the research object and uses them at low concentrations.The biotrickling method,which has a huge application prospect in organic waste gas treatment,is a treatment method.Two brand-new biotrickling filters,BTF-A and BTF-B,have been constructed and filled with self-made conductive materials to investigate the conductivity under the applied electric field conditions.Treatment performance of toluene in waste bio-trickling filter ponds and the effect of external/electric field on microbial community structure in trickling filter.The treatment efficiency of the biotrickling filter is influenced by many factors such as temperature,pH value,pressure in the filter tank,intake air concentration,empty bed residence time,etc.The ambient temperature of the paper is about 20°C constant temperature environment,and the pH value is neutral.The variable bed residence time,the inlet air concentration and the applied electric field have an effect on the toluene treatment effect.The experimental results show that the biotrickling filter filled with bio-trickling filter has better effect on the exhaust gas of toluene.When the empty bed residence time is 61.5s and the inlet gas concentration is 2.259g/m3,the removal capacity can reach 120.1g/m3h.Stay above 80%.In the biodegradation of toluene waste gas,the applied voltage has an inhibitory effect on biological treatment of toluene,resulting in a decrease in toluene removal rate.The results of high-throughput sequencing of biofilm samples showed that the applied voltage can change the microbial community structure,making autotrophic strains and nitrifying denitrifying strains dominant,resulting in decreased toluene removal efficiency.BTF-A in the efficient treatment of toluene waste gas The major species are Acidovorax,Rhodococcus,Hydrogenophaga,Brevundimonas,Arthrobacter,Pseudoxanthomonas,Devosia,Gemmobacter,Rhizobium,Dokdonella,and Pseudomonas.They together constitute a highly active biofilm for the treatment of toluene.
