This paper demonstrates the possibility of ultrasonic time difference method applied to the coal mine environment from the three aspects of the basic principles of ultrasonic time difference measurement of wind speed,the use environment of coal mine wind speed sensor and the application status of civilian ultrasonic time difference wind speed wind direction sensor;The main factors,and put forward a corresponding solution to the plan.In order to solve the measurement results of traditional mine wind speed sensors such as differential pressure type,mechanical type,and ultrasonic vortex type,it is easy to be affected by the installation direction,and the measurement lower limit cannot meet the “Mining Safety Code” in the “Drilling Rock Lane and Other Ventilating Corridor Minimum The wind speed measurement with the allowable wind speed of 0.15m/s was proposed,and the idea of applying ultrasonic time difference method to the measurement of coal mine wind speed was proposed.Ultrasonic time difference method has been widely used in civil weather wind speed detection field because of its simple structure and stable performance.It lays a solid foundation for the application of the technology in the field of coal mine wind speed detection,but it is currently in a leading position in this technology.Domestically,there are still gaps in comparison with foreign countries in terms of measurement accuracy and lower measurement limits.In view of the above problems,this paper starts with the basic principle of ultrasonic time difference detection,deeply analyzes the source of measurement error and the influence degree of different error factors on the measurement results,and the proportion of various error factors in the use environment of coal mines.Through the study of ultrasonic excitation and propagation characteristics,an ultrasonic time-of-flight detection method based on weighted idea and subdivision interpolation algorithm was proposed.The stable measurement of ultrasonic flight time of 10 ns was realized and the detection accuracy was improved;the ultrasonic pre-activation driving technology was adopted.Research,ultrasonic low-voltage low-power drive,provides the basis for the intrinsic safety design of the hardware circuit;using high-speed data acquisition card,combined with LABview simulation software,set up an ultrasonic time-difference method of wind speed detection experiment platform,verifying the system's hardware and software design program The feasibility of achieving full scale measurement with a resolution of 0.1m/s and 0-15m/s.Through the research and design of the ultrasonic probe group structure,this technology adapts to the high-humidity,high-dust environment under the coal mine and provides a new technical way for the accurate measurement of coal mine underground wind speed.The experimental results show that the system achieves 0-15m/s full-scale wind speed measurement with an error of ±0.1m/s,which solves the technical difficulties of low-speed and high-precision measurement in coal mines and provides support for the industrialization of the technology in the next step.
