With the development of economy the technology in China's pharmaceutical industry is continuously improving.Based on the comparison of the latest Chinese Pharmacopoeia it can be found that many new pharmaceutical excipients are produced with technological changes among which are Silicified microcrystalline cellulose?SMCC?.The auxiliary material has good fluidity and can be used in a direct tableting process and is also used for the preparation of a disintegrating agent or a pellet core due to its good disintegration characteristics and has a very wide application prospect. However microcrystalline cellulose raw materials?cotton fibers?are expensive and have a small specific surface area. The group of straw microcrystalline fiber prepared by using the SO3 micro thermal explosion technology has a large specific surface area and excellent disintegration performance. However the pretreatment alkali consumes large amounts of waste water and the residual silica causes high ignition residue and difficulty in ensuring whiteness.Based on this the semi-solid pretreatment method based on micro thermal explosion of SO3 and the preparation process of microcrystalline cellulose with silicified straw were studied and developed. The SO3 micro-thermal explosion technology was applied to the pretreatment of corn stalks to implement the application scope of the SO3 micro-thermal explosion pretreatment. The pretreatment shear mode and different components were accurately studied to determine the applicability of the SO3 microthermal blasting synergistic dilute alkali pretreatment method to corn stalks and the differences in the different structures of the fermentation.Based on the research foundation of the "normal temperature" and "normal pressure" SO3 micro-thermal explosion technology a "semi-solid" pretreatment method for spraying dilute alkali is adopted and mediated by external forces such as physical impact or extrusion shear and finally established.A new physical-chemical-physical method for pre-treatment of straw “semi-solid” pre-treatment was adopted to increase the pretreatment effect reduce the energy consumption and cost of pretreatment and study the pretreatment mechanism and model. Finally the pre-treated straw coarse cellulose was treated in a later stage of value-added treatment and the crude straw microcrystalline cellulose was obtained through a two-step bleaching process in the laboratory and then subjected to silicification treatment.Silicification was prepared by a new hydrosol method which resulted in silicified microcrystalline cellulose that complies with the 2015 Pharmacopoeia regulations replacing the cotton fibers and lowering the total production cost.
