Research On Lighting Design Of The Clothing Window Display

With the improvement of the living standards,people are no longer satisfied with the physiological needs of clothing,the psychological needs of clothing have gradually become the trend of our society.The physiological and psychological feeling brought by the lighting design will directly affect the clothing sales.At present,people do not pay high attention to the lighting design of the clothing window display,it is not only reflected in the scarce theoretical research but also in the unenlightened actual operation.Many clothing display divisions and related practitioners often neglect the positive function of the lighting design in the clothing window display.Therefore,it is necessary for us to study the clothing window display and the lighting design.Firstly,a market survey on the lighting design of the clothing window display was conducted in the paper to know the consumers and salesmans? attention and satisfaction on the lighting design,even the stimulation,all of the results would be analyzed by the market research data.Secondly,a comprehensive analysis by literature was conducted to know how many elements have influenced the lighting design of the clothing window display.These elements included the choice of the clothing window illumination,the form of the clothing window display,the style of the fashion window display,and the other elements in the display of the clothing window(clothing style,clothing fabric,clothing color,ambient tone,seasonal factors,natural light and artificial optical interference).Furthermore,after considering the various elements,the quantity of clothing display was the basis of illumination design,a series of pictures were designed by Using Photoshop CS5 painting Software.Finally,the computer programming technology was used to write program code,the Java Web and SQL Server 2008 were used to create a search system which is named clothing window lighting design,then put the pre-designed pictures into the database search system.The purpose of this paper is to provide some theoretical basis and practical reference for the costume designers,eventually they can save much time and improve work efficiency.Through the research of this paper,it is hoped that the relevant practitioners will recognize the important role of the lighting design in the clothing window display,and make full use of its positive function to beautify the window environment,display the concept of clothing,promote the clothing sales,enhance the connotation of clothing.
