| Polyhydroxyalkanoates(PHA)is a kind of high-crystallized thermoplastic polyester due to nutrient imbalance in cells.The product has great properties such as renewability,biodeg radability and biocompatibility,which are expected to replace some petroleum products to ease the pressure on world oil resources.PHA,as a new biodegradable environmental prot ection material,has been paid more and more attention within the increasing serious polluti on in the world.Having been widely studied,the application of PHA in textile field will be varieties of Eco-friendly textiles.At this point,the research and application remain immature while the producing technol ogy of PHA synthesizing with stable quality is stepping forward,the relating market has no t been formed.In this paper,83.3dtex/48 F and 166.7dtex/48 F filaments developed by cooperative enterprise are selected.On the basis of the study of fiber properties,three kinds of woven fabrics,pure PHA fabrics,PHA/silk interwoven fabrics and PHA/PET interwoven fabrics,are manufactured and refined into finished fabrics.Furthermore,the wearability and style of fabrics were test and analyzed.The conclusions are as follows:1、The longitudinal surface of PHA fiber is smooth and the cross section is irregular solid circular.The average linear density was 1.64 dtex.The moisture regain was 2.26%.The breaking strength was 3.26 c N/dtex while the breaking elongation was 25.2%.The initial modulus was 76.63 c N/dtex.The crystallinity was 39.4%.The melting temperature was 150℃ and the decomposition temperature was 235℃.The elastic recovery rate of PHA fiber was 71.56% at the fixed elongation of 5% while the elastic recovery rate was 66.56% at the fixed elongation of 10%.The shrinkage of PHA fiber in boiling water within 20 minutes was 9.3% and that in 30 minutes was 6.4%.After boiling water treatment,the breaking strength of PHA fiber decreased while the breaking elongation increased.2、In pure PHA plain fabrics,when the total covering coefficient of fabric increased,the tensile property and flatness increased while the air permeability,heat preservation rate,drapability,smoothness,flexibility and luster decreased.There was little difference in the contact feeling of cold and warm.Compared with plain fabrics,satin fabrics have better tensile properties,wrinkle resistance,air permeability,drapability,temperature retention and contact feeling of warmth,but have worse moisture permeability and heat conductivity.The fabric fullness,softness,stiffness and smoothness of stain fabrics were better than that of plain fabrics.The flatness of stain fabrics was worse,and the luster was close to plain fabrics.3、When the fabric was interwoven by twisted silks and PHA filaments,the breaking strength,air permeability,heat conductivity and contact feeling of warmth were improved,while the crease resistance,draping of the fabric,moisture permeability and temperature preservation decreased.At the same time,the fullness,smoothness,stiffness,flatness and scroopy were all improved,and the softness was weakened.The luster of the fabric was stronger than that of the fabric interwoven by single silks and PHA filaments.Compared with pure PHA fabrics,the fabric woven with polyester fibers and PHA filaments in weft direction has better properties,such as weft breaking strength,breaking elongation,crease resistance,drapability,air permeability and contact feeling of warm.While the moisture permeability,thermal conductivity and temperature retention were worse.What’s more,fabrics’ fullness,stiffness,flatness,scroopy and luster were weaker,while the smoothness and compliance were stronger.With the increasing of the fabric total covering coefficient,the tensile properties,thermal conductivity,fullness and smoothness of the fabric were improved,while the contact feeling of warmth and smoothness were weakened.In general,the tensile properties,crease resistance,air permeability,moisture permeability,draping,temperature retention,flatness,fullness,stiffness,smoothness and scroopy of PHA/silk interwoven fabrics change from large to small in order of twill,plain.The thermal conductivity,contact cold,softness and luster change from large to small in order of plain,twill.4、Among pure PHA fabric,PHA/PET interwoven fabric and PHA/silk interwoven fabric,the pure PHA fabric has the best moisture permeability,contact feeling of cold and heat conductivity and the worst tensile properties,softness and smoothness.The luster was weak.The PHA/silk blended fabric has the best tensile properties,flatness and stiffness and the worst crease resistance.PHA/PET interwoven fabric has the best crease resistance,temperature preservation,softness,fullness and smoothness and the worst cold contact,heat conductivity,flatness and stiffness.PHA/silk interwoven fabric has the best luster and the worst temperature preservation and moisture permeability.PHA filament series fabrics have good pilling resistance,and the pilling resistance level were all above 4. |
