In this thesis,we explored palladium(II)-catalyzed nucleophilic addition of arylboronic acids to α,β-unsaturated compounds and polymerization.1.Cationic Pd(II)/Bipyridine-Catalyzed Conjugate Addition of Arylboronic Acids to α,β-Unsaturated Carboxylic Acids in Aqueous Media. In water,in-situ generated cationic palladium(II)-catalyzed conjugate addition of arylboronic acids to α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids was achieved in convenient and efficient way.And products could easily purified by filtration without columns. When the catalyst loading was decreased to 1.0 mol%,a 70% yield was still given.2.Neutral Pd(II)/Bipyridine-Catalyzed Conjugate Addition of Arylboronic Acids to β-Phthaliminoacrylate Esters.Neutral pd(II)/bipyridine-catalyzed conjugate addition of arylboronic acids to β-phthaliminoacrylate esters was developed with high yield and THF/H2 O as solvent. The hydrolyzation of products are β-amino acid which have a wide range of uses in medicine.3.Palladium catalyzed polymerizationAn oligomer was obtained in the way of cationic Pd(II)/bpy-catalysis in CH3NO2.
