In recent years, the amount of carbon emission from agricultural production has increased significantly. The environmental problems caused by this are getting more and more attention. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to determine the gravity center of China’s agricultural carbon emission, analyze the status of agricultural environmental efficiency, and then study the dominatant factors affecting agricultural carbon emission and the shadow price of carbon emissions reduction.Firstly, this article uses the gravity model to measure the gravity changing trend of the national agricultural carbon emission from 2005 to 2014,and determines the gravity center of national agricultural carbon emissions.Secondly, this paper analyzes the changing trends of agricultural environmental efficiency from 2005-2014 based on SBM-DEA model, and further understands the carbon emission efficiency of agricultural production inputs.Thirdly, this study calculates the shadow price of agricultural carbon emission reduction in all province based on SBM-DEA model.Using the research results of carbon emission reduction shadow price to scientifically plan the regional focus of national agricultural emission reduction, and to minimize the national agricultural carbon abatement costs. Finally, the LMDI decomposition method was used to explore the dominant factors affecting agricultural carbon emissions in all provinces. Then,to make more targeted recommendations for agricultural carbon emission reduction policies. The results of the research show that:(1)the gravity center of national agricultural carbon emissions basically concentrated in Henan province from 2005-2014.The gravity center of carbon emission has a tendency to move to the northwest. The average value of the national agricultural environmental efficiency showed a downward trend, from 0.7 in 2005 to 0.58 in 2014.(2)The average shadow price of carbon emission has been increasing year by year.In 2005,it was 1119 yuan/ton,and in 2014 it rose to 1792 yuan/ton.The gap in the shadow price of agricultural carbon emissions among provinces has widened over time, and the shadow price of agricultural carbon emission has increased significantly in developed provinces. For example,Shanghai rose from 90 yuan/ton in 2005 to 1436 yuan/ ton in 2014.(3)The per capita agricultural production(wealth factor)and agricultural subsidieshave greatly promoted the growth of total agricultural carbon emissions in the country. In short, while reducing the total amount of carbon emission from agriculture, the cost of agricultural carbon emission reduction is minimized. This testifies the actual effect of energy conservation and emissions reduction. This paper takes the current status of carbon emission efficiency in agricultural production inputs in China and the differences in carbon abatement costs between different provinces into account, and find specific measures for reducing carbon emissions in agriculture according to the main factors affecting carbon emissions from agriculture to increase carbon reduction in agriculture actual effect..
