In order to reduce the cost of crude oil production, the low production wells in the peripheral oil fields often do not lay crude oil collection and transmission pipelines, while the single well extraction method is used, and the crude oil and oil unloading and oil collection are the important links of the crude oil production. It is very important for crude oil production to calculate the moisture content of the crude oil at the unloading point. This paper analyzes and studies the improvement of the on-line detection instrument for the oil content of the oil unloading point.According to the analysis of the environment and the actual process of the unloading point in the oilfield, the principle of the water cut detector is optimized, and the accuracy of the equipment is improved by the principle of the radiofrequency measurement.Through simulation experiments and a series of data sampling,it is proved that the measured water cut range is between 0 and 100%,and the error value is within the range of + 3%.At the same time,it is verified that the new on-line detection instrument for crude oil moisture content has good accuracy in low temperature environment. In this paper,a new water cut detector is developed according to the confirmation of the measuring principle and installation method of the water content detector and according to the new installation method. It is proved by experiment that it has good effect. The test has solved the problem of large error in water cut detection in dragon first union, and accurate water cut test can improve the accuracy of the crude oil metering, and provide a reliable basis for the management of the production of crude oil.
