With the growth of China's economic strength,the demand for energy has also gradually increased.Because liquefied natural gas(LNG)is a clean and efficient energy source with wide distribution,high quality and low price,convenient mining,It has become the first choice of fuel resource in the world and the demand for LNG storage tank is gradually increasing.The volume of LNG storage tanks has become larger and larger.It is unpredictable that the damage caused by the leakage of the storage tank.The research results of this subject provide reference value for the production,developmen construction,and safe operation of storage tanks,and provide reference basis for the design and evaluation of LNG storage tanks.In this paper,the static and dynamics characteristics(wind load,seismic load and modal analysis)of storage tank are studied and relevant conclusions are drawn.the main contents and achievements of the study are as follows:1)Verification for model of LNG tank and meshingThe mode of storage tank is built and simplified by Solidwoks.then the model is imported into ANSYS to meshing.different meshing methods are used to mesh different regions of model which could ensure the quality of meshing.2)Statics analysis of LNG storage tankThe stress field and displacement field of the tank under the condition of empty tank and full tank are analyzed.Stress concentration in the discontinuous area of tank and stress gradient are obvious,and the stress linearization of hazardous area is carried out to prove that the strength of container meets the requirements.3)LNG storage tank wind load analysisThe distribution of the wind load on the storage tank is complex.APDL language is used to apply the wind load to the nodes of the storage tank.the analysis shows that the stress distribution of the windward side of the storage tank is complex and the stress increases gradually from the bottom to the top of the tank.The stress value of the windward side of the dome connected to the tank wall is the largest.4)Modal analysis of LNG storage tankComparing the modal analysis results of the empty tank and the full tank,the results show that the frequency of the empty tank under the first 30 modes is higher than that under the full tank,and the pres-tress modal analysis of the tank is similar to that of the non-pres-tress tank,and the influence of the pres-tress effect on the tank is ignored without special circumstances.5)Transient structure analysis of LNG storage tankThe distribution of stress and displacement of the storage tank are obtained under the excitation of three kinds of seismic wave TAFT waves,EI-Centro waves and Tianjin waves.The response of the storage tanks to different seismic waves is quite different.
