The extrusion head has an important influence on the flow balance of the melt in the head channel,the uniformity of the exit velocity,the production efficiency,and the quality of the pipe extrusion.Reasonable head structure and maintaining head temperature stability in production are important foundations for producing high quality pipes.The theoretical analysis of the head defects is performed,and then the pipe extrusion and extrusion are numerically simulated.Based on this,the structure of the head is optimized and the temperature control system of the head is designed.This has important guiding significance for the optimization of the machine head structure and the improvement of product quality,with significant economic value.The main research content of this article is as follows:First,the original organic head design data was obtained by mapping the old extrusion molding head,and the model of the old extrusion head was established.Through the analysis and analysis of the old extrusion head,we fully understand the existing problems in the plastic pipe extrusion molding process.In particular,the existing extrusion head has defects in the design of the flow channel,and finds its design problems.Then,the flow channel model of the extrusion head was established.According to the existing design defects of the machine head,combined with the polymer rheology theory and the optimization method,the three-dimensional flow process of the material in the flow channel was simulated using POLYFLOW software.This paper starts from the parameters that affect the balance of melt flow in the flow channel,such as the shape and size of the manifold section of the head channel,the compression angle,the compression ratio,the length of the shaping zone,and the inlet diameter.The POLYFLOW simulation analysis shows that the variation of the pressure field and the velocity field of the flow channel and the influence of the change of the parameter conditions on the uniformity of discharge are different when the dimensional parameters of the head geometry are different.Through the simulation analysis of POLYFLOW,the variation law of the pressure field and velocity field of the flow channel when the dimensional parameters of the head geometry were different and the influence of the change of the parameter conditions on the uniformity of the discharge were obtained.Comparing the simulation results,a set of optimal runner geometry design parameters was determined.Finally,according to the process requirements of pipe production,a head temperature control system with good adaptability,high precision of temperature control and small overshoot is designed based on single-chip microcomputer as the control core and PID control technology.The hardware selection of the control system and the preparation of the software are completed.The system software adopts a modular design and has good portability,versatility and sharing,and the system is initially debugged.
