A new type of electrostatic precipitator,which was originally transported from ash conveyer to the ash storage in the plant,was replaced by a new type of electrostatic precipitator which was collected directly from the dust depot of the dust collector and carried away by car.In order to understand the cooperative performance of steel support and huge ash storage,the research background of this paper is a new type of electrostatic precipitator improved by 1000 MW thermal power unit.The static and dynamic performance of electrostatic precipitator steel support and giant ash storage is studied by using finite element analysis software MIDAS/Gen,and the results are compared with those of steel support alone.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the overall calculation results,under the action of dead load,the maximum horizontal deformation is1.5 mm and vertical deformation is-5.1 mm,maximum stress value of beam element is 103.4MPa,The maximum axial force is 2484 kN,the maximum shear force is-839 kN,and the maximum bending moment is 553kN·m.Under the action of live load,the maximum horizontal deformation is 3.1 mm and vertical deformation is-10.1 mm,maximum stress value of beam element is 196.0MPa,The maximum axial force is 3837 kN,the maximum shear force is-1583 kN,and the maximum bending moment is 1096kN·m.The horizontal deformation of the two-layer column of the steel support is the largest,the vertical deformation between AB axis and FG axis of the first transverse main beam is the largest,the stress value of the top of the first layer column is the largest,the stress value of the second and third layer is not obvious,and the axial force of the first layer column is the largest.The bending moment is symmetrically distributed along the transverse end of the beam and the shear force at the end of the beam is antisymmetric.(2)under seismic action,the vibration modes of the steel support are as follows: the first order moves along the X direction,the second step moves along the Y direction,and the third step moves along the Z direction.The peak value of displacement response and acceleration response increase with the increase of height,and the maximum shear force of the layer appears in the first floor.(3)under various working conditions,the maximum values of horizontal deformation,vertical deformation,beam element stress,axial force,bending moment and shear force of steel support working together with giant ash storage are smaller than those of steel support working alone.Under the action of dead load,the maximum values of horizontal deformation,vertical deformation,beam element stress,axial force,bending moment and shear force of cooperative working steel support less 16.7%,3.8%,1.8%,10.4%,5.6% and 7.5% than the maximum value of steel support working alone.Under the action of live load,the maximumvalues of horizontal deformation,vertical deformation,beam element stress,axial force,bending moment and shear force of cooperative working steel support less13.8%,3.8%,8.6%,6.0%,10.5% and 7.8% than the maximum value of steel support working alone.
