Research On Villagers’ Participation In Rural Environmental Governance

In recent years,with the rapid development of rural economy in our country,the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly prominent.The quality of the rural environment is closely related to the production and life of the villagers.The degree of attention of the villagers to rural environmental governance has seriously affected the improvement of the rural ecological environment.Although some local governments began to gradually realize the importance of villagers’ participation in rural environmental governance,it is difficult for villagers to be truly involved in the constraints of subjective and objective conditions.Therefore,we must innovate and perfect the rural environmental governance mechanism under the new normal.This article mainly analyzes the current situation of villagers’ participation in rural environmental governance in Nanqiao District of Chuzhou City,and summarizes the current achievements of the villagers’ participation in environmental governance in Nanqiao District.The findings are small,so as to find out what problems still exist in the current villagers’participation in rural environmental governance,and then analyze the reasons for the existing problems of villagers participating in rural environmental governance at the present stage:Villagers have low levels of environmental protection,the legal system of rural environmental protection is not perfect,Insufficient government environmental protection education,lack of supervision mechanisms for environmental protection and incompleteness of non-governmental environmental protection organizations.And from raising the level of knowledge and cultural quality of the villagers,strengthen rural environmental protection education and education,improve the legal system of environmental protection,broadening the participation of villagers in environmental governance,promote the establishment of non-governmental environmental organizations,improve the villagers’ participation in the environmental protection mechanism and improve the government’s environmental information disclosure system.The paper puts forward suggestions for strengthening the villagers’ participation in rural environmental governance,So as to provide new ideas for villagers to participate in the governance of the rural environment under the new normal.
