Polyester is the largest variety in the modern fiber market.As people’s health awareness increases,the ultraviolet protection of polyester has been paid more attention,and the demand of UV-resistant polyester fiber has been growing continuously.The preparation of anti-ultraviolet fiber masterbatch is the key to the preparation of UV-resistant polyester fibers by blending method.However,the production of high-performance fiber masterbatches in the industry is relatively low,and the problem of difficulty in dispersion of functional nanopowders in masterbatch is prominent.So it is important to develop a good dispersibility,strong thermal stability and excellent spinning resistance of ultraviolet PET fiber masterbatch.In this paper,the screw structure of the twin-screw extruder of processing equipment for anti-ultraviolet PET fiber masterbatch was firstly started.Through three-dimensional modeling and finite element simulation analysis of the screw mixing section structure,the screw configuration which was suitable for the mixing performance of the masterbatch system was obtained.PET was used as a matrix on the preparation of anti-UV PET fiber masterbatch.The effects of the type and content of TiO2 powders on the rheological properties,dispersibility,heat-resistance,spinnability and UV-resistance of the TiO2 were studied,and the TiO2 powder and content that were most suitable for the polyester matrix were obtained.It was found that the UV-resistant PET fiber prepared by A type of titanium dioxide with a content of 20%was the best in this research system.In addition,the effects of three dispersants on the UV-masterbatch properties of titanium dioxide powder were compared from the perspective of molecular polarity and other considerations.The results showed that the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer with 1.7%content in the Masterbatch could improve the fluidity of the system,enhance the wetting and infiltration of titanium dioxide,improve the dispersibility of the Masterbatch,and improve the tensile strength of the spun fibers.Finally,based on the study of anti-ultraviolet PET fiber masterbatch of titanium dioxide,the effects of cerium phosphate powder on the heat resistance,characteristic viscosity and crystallinity of PET matrix were studied by the characterization and surface modification of cerium phosphate powder and the preparation of UV-resistant PET masterbatch.When the content of cerium phosphate in the masterbatch was 10%,the overall performance of the masterbatch was better,the tensile strength of the fiber could reach 3.0 cN·tex-,and the transmittance of the UVB could be as low as 0.94%when the content of cerium phosphate in fiber is 1%.
