In this work,we synthesized six novel metal compounds and studied their properties.These six compounds include a binuclear guanidinate Fe(II)compound 2a,a binuclear amidinate Fe(II)compound 2b,a mononuclear amidinate Fe(II)compound 2c,a tetranuclear amidinate Co(II)compound 3a,a guanidinate Co(II)coordination compound 3b and a new carbodiimide Fe(II)compound 4a.Six novel metal compounds were fully characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction,magnetic measurement(VSM),IR and melting.Then,three known 1,3,5-triazacyclopentadienyl Sn(II)compounds 5a-5c were used as catalgsts in the addition of Ph NH2 and iPr N=C=NiPr.The content is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1.It mainly introduces the research background,significance,purpose and development status of the amidinate,guanidinate,carbodiimide metal organic compounds and catalytic synthesis of guanidine.Chapter 2.Research background and current status of binuclear guanidinate or amidinate compounds.Three new compounds including two binuclear guanidinate and amidinate Fe(II)compounds 2a-2b and a mononuclear amidinate Fe(II)compound 2c(Scheme 1)were obtained via the addition reactions of Ph N(Li)Si Me3,(Dipp)N(Li)Si Me3 and Ph CN or 1-Piperidinecarbonitrile at ratio of 1:1,and then methathesis reaction with Fe Cl2 at ratio of 2:1.Their molecular structures were fully characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction,magnetic measurement(VSM),IR and melting points were.Chapter 3.Research background and current status of guanidinate or amidinate Co(II)compounds.A oxygenated tetranuclear amidinate Co(II)compound 3a and a guanidinate Co(II)coordination compound 3b(Scheme 2)were obtained via the reactions of Ph N(Li)Si Me3 with Me2 NCN or Ph CN at ratio of 1:1,and then methathesis reaction with Co Cl2 at ratio of 1:1 or 2:1.Their molecular structures were fully characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction,magnetic measurement(VSM)and melting points.Chapter 4.Research background and current status of guanidinate metal compounds with TMEDA as a ancillary bridging ligand.A new carbodiimide Fe(II)compound 4a(Scheme 3)were obtained via the reactions of Ph N(Li)Si Me3 with TMEDA at ratio of 1:1,and then addition reaction with Me2 NCN at ratio of 1:1,further methathesis reaction with Fe Cl2 at ratio of 2:1.Its molecular structure was fully characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction,magnetic measurement(VSM)and melting points.Chapter 5.Research background and current status of catalytic synthesis of guanidine by metal compounds The synthesis of guanidine(Scheme 4)via catalytic Ph NH2 and iPr N=C=NiPr catalyzed by the three new 1,3,5-triazacyclopenta-dienyl Sn(II)metal compounds(5a-5c).By changing the reaction temperature,reaction time and solvent to find the optimal conditions.Under the optimum condition of using compound 5a as catalyst the yield can reach 96% at 60 ? for 60 min.Under the optimum condition of using compound 5b as catalyst the yield can reach 97% at 60 ? for 48 h.
