In recent years,due to the continuously increased demand for water in China,the shortage of water resources has become serious and various relevant water problems have arised.Basins of the Huang river,Huai river,and Hai river(HHH river basins)are three important water resources concentration areas in the northeastern region of China,and they are also the core areas for economic development.With the acceleration of industrialization,the problem of water resources shortage,deterioration of the ecological environment,and over-exploitation of groundwater resources have gradually increased in HHH river basins.The problem of water resources can not only cause serious natural disasters,but also stunt the social development.The Ecological Network Analysis(ENA)is a systematic analysis method widely used in ecology.Through modeling and analyzing the internal and overall ecological network characteristics of the water use system from the overall system perspective,ENA has been introduced into the field of water resources research as an effective method in recent years.In this thesis,with the HHH river basins as research areas,the structural analysis and utility analysis in ENA were employed.Based on verification of the revised water use ecological network model that considering environmental flow,the single and multi water use ecological network models were constructed,and the evolution of water use systems of the HHH river basins during 2003 to 2014 were studied from perspectives of the secondary partition of single basin and multi-basins.The result showed that through the implementation of a number of inter-basin water transfer projects and the establishment of a water-saving society,the water shortage pressure,utilization rate of water resources and stability of water use system have been improved during this period.However,the problem of serious shortage of environmental flow has not been improved substantially.Overall,the sustainability of water use systems of the HHH river basins need to be further improved through the implementation of water diversion,sluice control and other measures.
