Levulinic Acid,hereinafter referred to as"LA",is a multifunctional compound consisting of carbonyl,carboxyl,methyl and methylene.Because of its good chemical reaction characteristics,it can be widely used in medicine,resins,cosmetics,batteries and other fields.Biomass intermittent catalytic hydrolysis?or"one-step hydrolysis"?is one of the most widely used and convenient methods for making LA,but studies on the production of LA from the poisonous weed Eupatorium adenophorum are rarely reported.On the basis of single factor test and response surface test,the optimum process conditions are obtained by using the"one step method"for making LA.Finally,the reaction kinetics of the preparation of levulinic acid from Eupatorium adenophorum was studied in detail.The main conclusions are as follows:?1?Using glucose as the raw material,using inorganic acids?sulfuric acid,hydrochloric acid,phosphoric acid,nitric acid?,organic acids?oxalic acid,citric acid and p-toluene sulfonic acid?,molecular sieve ZSM-5?silicon aluminum ratio,27:1 And 46:1?,the single factor and response surface test are carried out by"one step hydrolysis",with the yield of LA as the yield.The best catalysts and their technological conditions in each category were obtained.According to the LA yield from small to large,ZSM-5?Si/Al ratio 27:1?,ZSM-5?Si/Al ratio 46:1?,HCl,HNO3,H2SO4,oxalic acid,methyl benzoic acid,citric acid,H3PO4.At this time,the highest yield of LA can reach 60.17%.?2?Using starch and cellulose as raw materials,using 3 kinds of superior catalysts?phosphoric acid,citric acid and ZSM-5?46:1?molecular sieve?in the experiment,the same single factor and response surface test were carried out,and the optimum technological conditions were obtained.According to the yield of LA from small to large,ZSM-5?46:1?,H3PO4,citric acid.The yield of LA obtained from polysaccharides under the best conditions is up to 33.83%.?3?Using Eupatorium adenophorum as raw material,the same 3 kinds of superior catalysts were also used for single factor test and response surface test respectively.On the basis of better technological conditions,the yield of LA was sorted from small to large to H3PO4,citric acid and ZSM-5?46:1?.At this time,the yield of Eupatorium adenophorum was the highest,up to 23.45%.?4?A kinetic model of hydrolysis of acetopropionic acid from Eupatorium adenophorum was obtained by molecular sieve catalysis:.By analyzing the data of apparent activation energy,it could be obtained that more energy was needed to produce glucose when the cellulose was hydrolyzed.Compared with the transformation of furfural to LA,the hydrolysis of glucose could be obtained.It is the most easy to be a bran aldehyde.In conclusion,the preparation of levulinic acid from Eupatorium adenophorum is an effective way to utilize the resource of Eupatorium adenophorum.It can reduce its adverse effects on the environment and change the harm to benefit.It will play a role in harnessing the harm of Eupatorium adenophorum.
