The steel industry is a major industry of China's national economic development,and such an significant role indeed requires high standards.Therefore,composition detection is a key point,however,traditional methods have already been quite difficult to reach high standard.This design introduces laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy into molten steel composition detection and this has significantly improved the test results.LIBS is a new spectral analysis technique which bases on emission spectrometry to realize composition detection.It has the characteristics of low destructiveness,real-time online detection of multi-element.LIBS has a great potential in many fields.This paper accomplishes the online detection study of molten steel components and aims to improve the practicability of LIBS.This project mainly completes the following jobs:Study the principle,current situation and application fields of laser induced breakdown spectroscopy and then analyze the influencing factors to obtain the appropriate experimental conditions and parameters.Select appropriate experiment devices and build LIBS experiment platform to understand the whole process.And then,we can optimize the experimental platform.Design automatic positioning system of test targets.Ablation problems will affect the detection results and this paper utilizes the superiority of Lab VIEW to design automatic system to resolve the problem.Lab VIEW and MATLAB are applied to design data acquisition and analysis system.The system takes full advantage of the superiorities of Lab VIEW and MATLAB.Learn Radical Basis(RBF)neural networking fitting method and complete data analysis in MATLAB through this method.Automatic positioning of test targets and data acquisition are the main research contents.It has created a new idea to improve the detection which helps reduce the cumbersome and improve the efficiency of the detection work.
