With the development of China’s industry, the demand for fresh water is increasing. The water consumption of acetylene industry and polyvinyl chloride industry is huge, and the main component of these wastewater is Ca(OH)2.A large amount of Ca2+-riched waste water will not only cause a large accumulation of calcium carbide slag to occupy precious land resources, but also cause land desertification, groundwater pollution and other ecological problems.Although the current treatment method can remove the Ca2+in the wastewater, the added value of the product is very low. Therefore, the development of a high added value of Ca2+wastewater treatment method has great impetus to the utilization of calcium carbide slag in the resource utilization. In this study, calcium chloride, calcium nitrate, calcium bromide and calcium acetate were used as calcium sources and diethylene glycol-ethylenediamine based CO2SM as carbon source, and CaCO3 crystals were synthesized. In this process,CO2SM not only provides carbonate ions for CaCO3 growth, but also functions as a crystal regulator.Secondly, calcium carbonate was prepared by atomization.Calcium carbonate crystals were prepared with calcium hydroxide as raw materials. The preparation conditions were as follows:[Ca(OH)2]=0.014 M,gas flow velocity=43.9 L/min and liquid flow velocity=33.1 mL/min;Then the universal applicability of the atomization method was investigated with carbide slag, barium hydroxide and strontium hydroxide respectively.Atomization method has universal applicability in the preparation of alkaline earth carbonate. Finally, the application of CaCO3 and CaO prepared by calcinating was preliminarily explored.CaO crystals were prepared by calcinating dumbbell-like,wheat spike-like and microsphere-like CaCO3 precuesors, which was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis.Subsequently, the maximum adsorption amount of CaO was 16.32 mg CO2/g CaO for the simulated flue gas at room temperature and atmospheric.Besides, the properties of as-maded paper were studied. The whiteness of the paper added with CaCO3 increased by 3.3 with the amount of CaCO3 added to 11.4%.This work can promote the development of Ca2+removal in solution, carbide slag comprehensive utilization and new CaO preparation.
