Based on the relative data of 80 tons converter with vanadium and titanium containing molten iron,as well as limestone as steelmaking raw materials,and aimed at to promote the ratio of limestone to replace lime,the reasons that affects the ratio is analyzed,the research to optimize converter process is carried out.According to the raw materials of Dagang 80 tons converter condition and terminal control requirements,Excel calculation table of material massive balance and heat balance of converter was set up.Calculation results show that heat of Dagang 80 tonsconverter is enough and of the potential for further use of limestone instead of lime.With vanadium and titanium containing molten iron directly,scrap steel structure,the slag forming process and oxygen supply is not so reasonable.Enrichment of?FeO?and?TiO2?in the early stage of the smelting process,excessive bubbles caused slag overflow and splashing,is the major factors that limits limestone use.Through the optimization of loading,slag forming and oxygen supply system,the problems were dissolved effectively.The key points of steelmaking operation guidance for limestone use in Dagang Steel were set up and put into industrial application.After process optimization,the proportion of limestone instead of lime rises apparently.Before optimization,i.e,June 1,2015 ago,compared with optimized,i.e,from June 1,2015 to December 7,2015,De-P efficiency increased by 3.21%with total amount of slag and slag basicity decreased.De-S efficiency was reduced by0.84%,but the influence to the product can be ignored.The limestone consumption is promoted from 6.36 kg/t up to 16.38 kg/t and lime consumption decreased from 45.25kg/t to 36.16 kg/t respectively.Iron and steel material consumption fell from 1054.57kg/t to 1051.52 kg/t.Splash occurrence rate decreased from 3.45%to 0.89%.Raw material cost saving reached 7.55 million yuan/a.The schedule target of Dagang steel group company of lime consumption below 39 kg/t,steel material consumption lower than 1052 kg/t is achieved and remarkable economic benefits is acquired.In addition,the converter slag foaming restriction agent test was carried out.It showed that with 150 kg/heat agent addition just in front of converter slag overflow,slag overflow and splash can be well under control.Right judgment in advance is necessary to operator.
