As the high developing of information technology,the bottleneck of information storage capacity has been more and more obvious.Researchers have put forward further ideas on high-density,high-transmission rate in storage technology.The traditional information recording methods which are rely on electrical storage technology and magnetic storage technology,in which are called two-dimensional surface storage.Such as tapes,magnetic CDs,in which are produced by magnetic storage technology,are limited by physical sizes,there will be large challenge in improving the capacity of the storage.As a material in holographic recording,photopolymer is a macromolecule material which is photosensitive,there are some advantages on it,such as high sensitivity,high diffraction efficiency,the huge storage capacity and so on.In this thesis,we had provided two kinds of photopolymer based on different mass fraction of(Polyving Akolol)PVA.Then we had test the diffraction efficiency,transmittance,and exposure intensity from the laser what was to be a light source,based on exposure intensity and exposure time,we can calculate the luminous sensitivity.At last,we compared with the diffraction efficiency from photopolymer and silver salt plate.The specific work in this paper include something about:(1)we compared with merits and drawbacks from the exist information recording materials,then summarized the research progress of domestic and foreign scholars for recording materials,at last,we summarized the advantages of photopolymer compared to other recording materials based on the research from the before work;(2)we introduced the theory about volume holographic storage and the technology,then compared with the diffraction efficiency from different holograms,we get a conclusion that the volume hologram shows a better advantage on diffraction efficiency;(3)we prepared acrylamide photoinduced polymer by purchasing materials and introduced the process of preparing PVA with different mass fraction.(4)we test diffraction efficiency,transmittance which was from the photopolymer we had prepared,and compared with silver salt plate.The photopolymer what we had prepared can be match with our demand of the experiment,the diffraction efficiency from the preparation of photopolymer proved to be better than silver salt plate.And the photopolymer which the mass fraction of 8% PVA was better than 10% in diffraction efficiency and the luminous sensitivity.
