With the rapid development of the economy in recent years,people's living conditions has greatly improved,and the output of municipal solid waste has increased rapidly,which will cause certain environmental impacts.The establishment of a waste incineration plant is intended to eliminate pollution,but the gaseous substances produced by the waste incineration plant will also produce certain pollution.Therefore,it is necessary to study the atmospheric pollutants generated by the municipal incineration plant.This paper takes a proposed domestic waste incineration plant in the north as research object.The research results shows that the atmospheric pollutants it produced,such as : PM2.5,SO2,NO2,CO,CO2,HCl,Hg,Pb,Cd,Cr and dioxins,etc can not meet the requirements of discharge standards.It will inevitably have adverse effects on the surrounding environment and human health if it was discharged directly.So it is necessary to identify the protective measures for atmospheric pollutants.The emission factor method and the analogy method are used to calculate the source intensity of the atmospheric pollutants generated by the treatment plant.To meet the emission requirements of the “Domestic Waste Incineration Pollution Control Standard”(GB18485-2014),the atmospheric pollutants prevention measures of this project are proposed as:(1)Control the temperature of the incinerator above 850°C,and the residence time is higher or equal to 2s.Besides,the furnace should be equipped with auxiliary burners to support combustion;(2)the garbage storage pit is designed to be fully enclosed;(3)the flue gas purification adopts "SNCR + semi-dry deacidification(spray tower)+ activated carbon injection + bag filter" process.After all the mearsures have been implemented,the atmospheric pollutants' emission quantities and concentration have been reduced.For example,the emission concentration of PM2.5 decreased from 2.79×103mg/m3 to 1.60mg/m3,and the emission concentration of NOx decreased from 3.39×102mg/m3 to 1.70×102mg/m3.Then the final atmospheric pollutants meet the corresponding standards.In this paper,the AERMOD model is used to predict the environmental impact of the atmospheric pollutants generated by the treatment plant in the surrounding area of 25km2,and the atmospheric pollutants includes PM2.5,SO2,NO2,CO,HCl,Hg,Pb and dioxins.Then the environmental impacts of the atmospheric pollutants produced by the treatment plant on the regional and global environment are analyzed based on the LCA concept.The results show that:(1)Under normal conditions and the accident condition that the efficiency of atmospheric pollutant treatment is reduced by 10%,the atmospheric pollutants emitted by the treatment plant have a greater impact on the northeast direction of the incinerator than other directions.But in general,these atmospheric pollutants have comparatively small impact on the environmental quality within 25km2 around the incinerator;(2)The total environmental impact potential of atmospheric pollutants produced by the treatment plant is 8.99×10-2,among them,POCP(3.94×10-2,NOx contribution rate accounted 79.74% for the most)>GWP(2.28×10-2,CO2 contribution rate accounted 99.27% for the most)>AP(1.50×10-2,NOx contribution rate accounted 80.92% for the most)>EP(1.27×10-2,NOx contribution rate accounted 99.79% for the most)>ETP(1.04×10-7),so CO2 and NOx have a great impact on the environment,thus it is necessary to focus on its prevention and control,and continuously monitor its emissions.In this paper,I make pollution prevention and control programs for the domestic municipal solid waste incineration plant in the north to ensure that its air pollutants meet the discharge standards.The research contents and results of this study can provide reference for the selection of pollution prevention and control programs for similar enterprises.This paper also makes a useful exploration of the environmental impacts of atmospheric pollutants produced by domestic waste incineration plants on the surrounding,regional and even global.This paper selects a pollution prevention and control plan for a proposed domestic waste incineration plant in the north of China to ensure that its atmospheric pollutants emissioned meet the discharge standards.The research results can provide references for the similar enterprises for selecting pollution prevention and control programs.At the same time,this paper also makes a useful exploration of the environmental impacts of atmospheric pollutants produced by domestic waste incineration plants on the surrounding,regional and even global.
