The indoor air quality of residential buildings is closely related to the health of the human body,and people spend most of their life indoors.Indoor air quality is affected not only by the pollution of decoration and persons’behavior,but also outdoor air environment.In recent years,there are more and more inferior materials in the market of decorating,and the pollution problem of outdoor air make indoor air environment more seriously.How to create a healthy indoor environment is an urgent problem.Building ventilation is an important methods to reduce the concentration of indoor pollutants and create a comfortable living environment.An indoor air quality system which monitors by on-line was used to continuously monitor 11 households(including 6naturally ventilated houses and 5 mechanically ventilated houses)in Xi’an from February 2017 to January 2018.The distribution characteristics and dynamic changes of the temperature,humidity,formaldehyde,carbon dioxide and PM2.5 in the living room and bedroom was analysing.The indoor air quality of residential buildings in Xi’an is generally known.We noticed that the indoor formaldehyde will exceed bid when the temperature and humidity was high which has finished decoration more than 5 years.The indoor formaldehyde can easily exceed bid when someone close the window for long time.The PM2.5 is the primary pollutant that should be controlled in residential buildings in Xi’an,especially the weather is terrible in winter.In the bedroom of the household,the concentration of CO2 will exceeding bid seriously at night.The behavior of the residents’switching windows in 11 households was monitored.A large number of behavioral data was collected during the winter.The factors affect the behavior of residents’switching windows,which including outdoor’s temperature,outdoor’s PM2.5concentration,and indoor’s CO2 concentration.Finally,combined with the monitoring system of mechanical ventilation,and analysing the influence of three ventilation modes inclouding switch window,air purifier and new fan when the concentration of indoor pollutant was in change,and we give some advice for how to reduce the pollutants of indoor in residential buildings in Xi’an.
