The contact angle between superhydrophbic surface and water is more than 150 degreesand the roll angle is less than 10 degrees.It has been widely applied in many fields,such as building,industrial manufacturing,textile and so on.Its unique characteristics are self-cleaning,military and aviation antifreeze,abrasion resistance,drag reduction and corrosion resistance.However,the development of super hydrophobic surfaces is either expensive or complicated,which usually requires the main technical reasons for the surperhydrophobic surface preparation.Aluminum and its alloys are widely used in various industrial products of their physical and chemical properties.Therefore,it is important to develop a simple and cheap superhydrophobic surface preparation method.Based on chemical etching,the paper presents a simple,economical and efficient method to fabricate the superhydrophobic surface of the aluminum alloy substrate: Using one-step chemical etching in hydrochloric acid solution only construct micron grade hollow coarse structure,when heated under 140? for 5 min construct with a concave angle morphology of micro/nano composite structure,the micro/nano structure interconnection form uneven "maze" structure.After cooling to room temperature,The surface of the aluminum alloy is superhydrophobic,and the contact angle with the water is 167.2 and the roll angle is only 2.3degrees,and the contact angle measuring instrument is used,such as sweep electron microscope(sem),energy spectrum analyzer,respectively,on the super hydrophobic aluminum alloy to characterize the microstructure and chemical composition.The results show that suitable micro-nanometer composite structure is the key to realize super hydrophobic surface characteristics.The surface stability experiments show that the surface of superhydrophobic aluminum alloy has good durability and stability.To explore the matrix preparation condition of super hydrophobic on the surface of the aluminum alloy,the optimal reaction conditions,based on the orthogonal experiment method,adopting L16(44)orthogonal experiment table design examines the different etching concentration,etching time and constant temperature heat treatment on the surface of hydrophobic effect.In addition,the experiment also found that the aluminum alloy substrate that without high-temperature processing only after etching achieved superhydrophilic,water droplets on the surface of contact angle 0°.
