| TC11 titanium alloy is a kind of heat-strength titanium alloy,which belongs to α+β titanium alloy.It has excellent high temperature strength,creep resistance and good comprehensive mechanical properties.It is mainly used for the manufacture of aero-engine presses,blades,drums and other parts,and can also be used to manufacture spacecraft structural parts.In the present study,TC11 titanium alloy was used to study the differences in the microstructure and mechanical properties of samples with different dimensions by consecutive point-mode forging and laser rapid forming(CPF-LRF).The effect of reduction parameters and heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the TC11 titanium alloy were mainly studied.The microstructure and microhardness of the samples with different dimensions were compared and analyzed.The results show that the microstructure and hardness of the TC11 titanium alloy by the consecutive point-mode forging and laser rapid forming have nothing to do with the forming height.The high and low samples have the same macrostructure from top to bottom and small differences in grain size.They are composed of the top of columnar grains,the top of large equiaxed grains and the bottom of uniform small equiaxed grains;the microstructure is the same,they were transformed from the top of Widmanst?tten microstructure into the bottom basket-weave microstructure;the microhardness remained the same,with the highest hardness of the top of columnar grains,followed by the bottom of uniform small equiaxed grains and the top of large equiaxed grains with the lowest hardness.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the TC11 titanium alloy with reduction of 0.1 mm and reduction of 0.2 mm were studied.The results show that the two kinds of samples are equiaxed grain and the grain size of the reduction of 0.2 mm samples is smaller.The microstructures of the two kinds of samples are basket-weave microstructure.The microhardness and tensile strength of the reduction of 0.2 mm sample is higher,but the elongation of the reduction of 0.1 mm sample is better.The effects of solution treatment and aging treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the TC11 titanium alloys with two kinds of reduction were studied.The results show that the area fraction and aspect ratio of the primary α phase of the two kinds of reduction decreases with the solution temperature increases,the degree of spheroidization of the grain boundary α phase increases,and the holding time has the effect of promoting.After solution treatment and aging treatment,the microhardness,tensile strength and elongation have been significantly improved,and the mechanical properties of the reduction of 0.2 mm samples are better than the mechanical properties of the reduction of 0.1 mm samples. |
