| In car manufacturing,cutting burr became a big problem to be solved,the wheel hub in the spokes formed cutting burr because of the intermittent.In order to analyze and verify the formation process of the cutting-speed direction burr of the turning more accurately,aluminum alloy with a plate number of A356 which was made on the commonly wheel hub material was used in the cutting simulation,this article obtained tool geometric,material parameters and cutting parameters according to wheel processing in the engineering background of turning wheel,used the simulation software of ABAQUS to establish the finite element model,and studied various factors that affected the formation of burr on the influence law of burr height and established a relevant empirical formula,and proved its accuracy by experiments.The details were as follows:(1)The single factor simulation experiment was carried out on the edge radius,cutting depth,cutting speed and the end Angle of the workpiece,the influence of each factor on the burr morphology and the appropriate range of cutting parameters was obtained.(2)Aluminum alloy with a plate number of A356 which was made on the commonly wheel hub material was used in the cutting simulation,and the four-factor four-level orthogonal simulation experiment was designed to obtain the degree of influence of each factor on the burr height.(3)According to the importance of the factors which affected the burr height,chose the most important three factors,designed three factors five levels regression orthogonal cutting simulation,got the ternary quadratic regression equation of the burr height.(4)The wheel turning test was carried out,the burr shape obtained by the test was compared with the simulation,the burr height obtained by the experiment was contrasted with the simulation,and the empirical formula obtained by the FEM simulation model was validated and corrected. |
