With the rapid development of Chinese industry,the demand for production efficiency is higher and higher in heavy industry.Radial forging,as a kind of precision forging method,is playing an increasingly important role in the production of rotary parts with high mechanical properties.The radial forging process has the characteristics of high production efficiency,good surface quality and it can improve the plasticity of metal.However,there are some limitations in the common four-hammer form radial forging process because the forgings that can be produced are of limited shape.The two-hammer radial forging process is similar to the traditional fast forging process,which can produce more forging types than the four-hammer ones and it has a wider application range.The subject of this paper comes from the project of the research on forging technology and intelligent process software of 10 MN fast forging machine.Based on the finite element simulation software Simufact.Forming,in view of the specific process parameters,combined with a stainless steel blade forging parts,two-hammer radial forging process was studied.This paper puts forward the selection rules of process parameters such as the reduction and the anvil width ratio.This paper mainly studies from the following angles:(1)The thermal deformation rheological stress of 0Cr17Ni4Cu4 Nb martensitic precipitation-hardening steel was obtained by the hot compress test of the material,and the peak stress mathematical model with Z parameters was obtained by linear regression.(2)Under the condition of the rotation Angle of 30 °,seek the V-shaped anvil and the flat anvil draw out working mode,determine the quantity of the range of anvil width ratio in each single pass.(3)The parameters of two-hammer radial forging process are used in practice,and the forging process is prepared for typical forging part.The process was verified by the finite element method,and the key problems such as metal flow,temperature field change and forging penetration efficiency were analyzed.
