China's coal resources are abundant, and its reserves are far greater than that of oil and natural gas.But along with increase of mechanization degree and lump coal yield, pulverized coal also increased rapidly. The pulverized coal transport and use are not convenient. So briquette technology was invented.U.N.energy organization develops briquette as an effective way of energy saving and emission reduction. In China, the central and local governments also pay attention to briquette technology.Large amounts of illegal cooked oil in the sewer, due to water and environmental factors, the illegal cooked oil has a series of biochemical reactions, produce a series of aldehydes, acids and other malodorous substances, pollute the atmosphere and worsen the living environment. As a result of the existence of the illegal cooked oil, water is polluted, aquatic biological is death, mosquitoes are breeded, flies and other pests spread bacteria. In this paper, the application of illegal cooked oil in coal briquette is studied, and a new approach for the use of illegal cooked oil is opened up.The effects of different binders on the compressive strength, falling strength and waterproofness of the briquette were investigated. The influence law was studied. The optimum matching of adding the illegal cooking oil to the briquette was concluded, and the combustion characteristics of the briquette were analyzed. This paper obtained the following conclusions:(1)In the experiment of the influence of binder on the performance indexes of briquette, the waste wood sawdust is selected to be modified in different ways, and the indexes of briquette made of modified sawdust as binder are studied.NaOH solution modified sawdust and yeast modified sawdust as binder, the compressive strength is very close, almost no difference, and the composite strain modified compressive strength is relatively poor; When the sawdust is modified by NaOH solution, the falling strength is the best, but the yeast modified sawdust is the second, and the composite strain is the worst;Waterproofness is poor when modified sawdust is used as binder,so it is necessary to add other materials in actual production to improve its waterproofness.NaOH modified sawdust is used as binder, and the optimum properties are obtained when the amount is 10%.(2)In order to improve the briquette's waterproofness, using emulsified asphalt as binder for briquette production, its compressive strength, falling strength and waterproofness is good, but not easily ignited in the combustion process and the combustion process to automatically extinguish. There are a lot of black smoke in the combustion process. As a binder, sodium humate has good compressive strength and falling strength, but it has poor waterproofness and is dispersed when exposed to water. Therefore,it is not suitable for stacking in the open air.(3)The briquette which is mixed by 10%NaOH modified sawdust and 4%or 5%emulsified asphalt has good compressive strength, falling strength and waterproofness property.NaOH modified sawdust and sodium humate composite binder have better strength, but waterproofness is still poor.(4)In the experiment of adding illegal cooked oil in the briquette, the amount of coal powder is 100g,adding NaOH modified sawdust 10%,emulsified asphalt 5%,sodium humate 5%,and 4ml illegal cooked oil. This biomass briquette has the best properties, compressive strength of 1562.7N,80.82%falling strength,so this briquette can be long-distance transport or open dumps.Through industrial analysis, this illegal cooked oil bio-briquette's fugitive constituent is larger, ash content increased slightly, sulfur content is decress. The combustion test shows that the briquette has the advantages of easy ignition and complete combustion and so on.
