The global energy shortage and environmental pollution problems have seriously affected people’s work life and learning life.In recent years,more and more attention they have received,more and more important to search for a kind of clean,green,sustainable energy for the people of the world.Hydrogen has broad prospects as a green and clean secondary energy source,Modern industry has not achieved large-scale hydrogen production,so it is very important to find a highly efficient,clean and sustainable method for hydrogen production.Precious metals and their compounds is used to reduce the energy loss for Electrocatalytic electrode catalysts.However,precious metals are expensive and scarce,so they are not suitable for large-scale using as catalysts in experiments.Therefore,a non-precious metal catalyst have to be sought to promote the electrohydrolysis reaction.Here,this subject aims to prepare three kinds of layered double hydroxides and their phosphides,then test its catalytic hydrolysis properties as a catalyst for the electrohydrolysis reaction.Firstly,cuprous oxide with three-dimensional cubic structure was prepared and three kinds of Layered double hydroxides with a framework of cuprous oxide were prepared by solution coprecipitation method.Then phosphating the sample to obtain its phosphide in the pure Nitrogen environment by means of vacuum annealing.The three kinds of Layered double hydroxides samples and their phosphides were subjected to ultrasonic stripping,and obtain their structure,composition,composition,and morphology of the materials by Raman,XRD,SEM,EDS,and XPS.It is shown that the three kinds of Layered double hydroxides and their phosphides all maintain the three-dimensional structure of cuprous oxide.The electrochemical OER catalytic tests of the three kinds of Layered double hydroxides in 1 mol/L KOH solution and the comparison of the test results show that the three kinds of Layered double hydroxides have the best performance while the ratio of the amount two metal cation is fixed.Comparing the best performance of three kinds of Layered double hydroxides,the electrochemical OER catalytic properties of the nickel-iron bimetallic layered hydroxides is the best.When the current density was 10 m A/cm2,the overpotential was 258 m V.The Tafel slope is 76 m V/dec,so the nickel-iron bimetallic layered hydroxide is a very excellent material for the electrochemical OER catalytic property.Electrochemical OER catalytic tests of phosphides of three kinds of Layered double hydroxides in 1 mol/L KOH solution were performed and the test results were compared,the electrochemical OER catalytic properties of phosphides of nickel-iron Layered double hydroxides is the best.Preferably,the catalytic performance of phosphides is improved over the unphosphorized sample.The results of electrochemical HER catalysis show that the phosphide of the three kinds of Layered double hydroxides is a bifunctional catalytic material.The nickel-cobalt bimetallic layered hydroxides have the best HER catalytic properties,When the current density is 10 m A/cm2,the overpotential is 300 m V and the Tafel slope is 151 m V/dec.Therefore,the material has a wide application prospect in catalytic electrolysis.
