Coal is one of the major consumption energy sources in the world,but because of its high carbon content,it will cause serious pollution to the environment no matter mining,transportation,storage and combustion.In order to reduce environmental pollution and to meet the needs of diversified industrial production,modern coal chemical technology has developed rapidly in the near future.But the coal chemical industry is a high water consumption project,at the same time Chinese,coal resources and water resources distribution is very uneven,in order to protect the limited water resources,reduce the circulating cooling water is an important way of saving water in coal chemical industry.This paper first introduces the development status of domestic and foreign use of air cooling and water cooling,analyze the direct air cooling system,Heller type air cooling system and Harmon type air cooling system is the basic principle,development process and practical application.Under the premise of meeting the summer use,according to the principle of water saving,through the screening and improvement,the test scheme of the cooling water system with evaporative condenser as the prototype is established.The calculation of heat load and heat transfer area calculation,to determine the basic structure of the circulating water cooling device,through fluent simulation,to understand the experimental device in the process of operation,the flow velocity in the tube and the effect of tube wind speed roughly.This paper collected the experimental data generated by the equipment operation in the process of air cooling test device of winter and two modes of operation,in the winter,spring and autumn two season average temperature lower than 15 degrees Celsius,the use of winter mode,completely rely on air for cooling the circulating water.During the summer and spring and autumn,the average temperature in the two seasons is higher than 15 degrees Celsius.When using the summer model,the circulating water is pre cooled by using air,and then the heat of the circulating water in the fin tube is removed by evaporation of water.When the monthly average temperature reaches 15 degrees centigrade,two modes of operation are switched,and the stability of the experimental equipment under two different operation modes,dry and wet,and the cooling efficiency under two different conditions are emphasized.The experimental data were analyzed,finally,the discussion,calculation of experimental data and theoretical data of water consumption is basically the same,the liquid in the pipe flow rate,pipe velocity,fin tube row number,air and other factors have a significant impact on the heat transfer efficiency,to determine whether it can proceed to the next further experiments,can provide a reference for industrial production.
