UIO-67 possesses secondary structure unit ZrO4(OH)4.It has the advantages of large specific surface area,good thermal stability and porosity.Thus,it is a excellent materials for fabrication of high performance liquid separation stationary phase.In this paper,we focus on the research about the preparation of UIO-67@SiO2 stationary phase and its chromatographic applicationsThe full text is divided into three chapters:The first chapter:this chapter gives a brief overview of the research background of Metal organic framework.The second chapter:With 4,4’-diphenic acid as the organic ligand and metal zirconium as the metal center,UIO-67 was successfully coated on the surface of amino silica gel in the acidic environment.Thus,the UIO-67@SiO2 core-shell stationary phase was obtained.The new UIO-67@SiO2 stationary phase was respectively characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,scanning electron microscope,X-ray powder diffraction,thermogravimetric analyzer,elemental analyzer,and specific surface area and porosity analyzer.The results showed that the UIO-67@SiO2 stationary phase has been successfully prepared with high thermal and chemical stability.In the third chapter,the synthesized UIO-67@SiO2 stationary phase was further used for high performance liquid chromatography separation.The retention mechanisms and the separation properties of UIO-67@SiO2 column was respectively investigated by thioureas,anilines,alkylbenzenes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.The new UIO-67@SiO2 column exhibited reverse chromatography and hydrophilic chromatography retention mechanisms.Compared with the conventional commercial C188 column,the UIO-67@Si O2 chromatographic column can be used for fast separation of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic compounds with good separation selectivity.It shows good potential for separation and analysis of small molecules.
