Blueberry leaves,contains rich polyphenol compounds,including anthocyanins,chlorogenic acid,crude protein,minerals,fatty acids,vitamins and other material is also very rich.polyphenols have extremely strong antioxidant ability,have health care function to human body,can prevent diabetes,antitumor,improve immune system,antiviral effect and so on.But for blueberry leaves research starts late in our country,the study of its composition properties as well as the development and utilization technology research reports are also rare.Therefore,the analysis of the nutrition composition content of blueberry leaves in different growth period,explore its nutrients and growth period,and study the polyphenol antioxidant activity is of great significance.The blueberry leaves were took in shenyang,Liaoning province duke blueberry leaves as the research object.We took the leaves on 5,6,7,8,9,10 month to capture every month,the determination of each growing period of nutrients contents,and select the highest polyphenol content in blueberry leaves to make blueberry leaf tea beverage,explore the antioxidant activity of blueberry leaves and tea polyphenols in vitro,and explore the relationship between them.The paper would provide reliable data support and theoretical basis.The main research results of this paper are listed as follows:1.From May to October,the growth period of six months,blueberry leaves’ total sugar content increased after decreased,and the highest month is in September,and then began to decline again;During the whole growth,the content of calcium is increasing,iron content was reduced after increased first,and the highest level of them all is in October;In August,the content of protein is higher than in October,with amount of 63.46 mg/g;The content of anthocyanins show an increased state,reached the highest point in August,and then a slight decline in September;the content of total flavonoids in the whole growth stage,has been declined all the way,but the highest month is in May and September,in September,the content is about 34.82 mg/g;The content of total phenol began to rise after July,up to 68.72 mg/g in October.So if we pick blueberry leaves in September,we may get a high content of total sugar,calcium,protein,flavonoids and polyphenols content.And if we pick them in October,we may get high level of the calcium,iron and polyphenol content is higher.Because the month of May and June is an early stage for the blueberry plant,they are still in the primary stage,it’s not a good option to pick blueberry leaves at this time of the year.2.From the result we get in chapter one,we can find that the highest polyphenol content of blueberry leaves is in October,so we use it as experimental material,and made them into blueberry leaves tea drinks to simulate the blueberry leaf product.Then,by measuring blueberry leaf and tea polyphenols ABTS radical scavenging ability,FRAP value and DPPH radical scavenging ability,we can reach to the answer to an evaluation of blueberry leaf polyphenol oxidation resistance.We found out that blueberry leaves has a stronger antioxidant activity than rutin standard.The experimental results show that the blueberry leaves TEAC value,FRAP and DPPH clearance rate were higher than rutin standard.There has been a positive correlation between antioxidant capacity and content of blueberry leaves.Blueberry leaves tea beverage also has antioxidant activity,the order of antioxidant activity is: blueberry leaves> rutin standard > blueberry leaf tea beverage.Blueberry leaves polyphenol is of strong antioxidant activity,can remove free radicals effectively,it can be used in natural antioxidants,the preparation of medicines and health products.
