| Polyoxymethylene(POM)is a kind of engineering plastic which has excellent comprehensive properties and is widely used in automotive,electronic and electrical,household electrical appliances,precision machinery and building materials and other industries.However,with the development of anti-static requirements such as the shell of electronic and electrical equipment,insulation sheath of wire and cable,packaging materials for electronic chips,bars and plates,etc.Field requirements for antistatic properties of engineering plastics is also increasing.In this paper,the antistatic and conductive mechanism of POM was studied.The mechanical and electrical properties of the material were evaluated in detail with the anti-static POM ED-10 as the target.By investigating the effects of various antistatic agents on the electrical and mechanical properties and thermal stability of POM,a sulfonate anionic antistatic agent was selected.The addition of sulfonate anionic antistatic agent in POM was optimized.The resistivity of the material was reduced from 1014-1016Ω.cm to 109Ω.cm,and the effect of electrostatic dispersion was achieved.And in the development process,combined with customer trial information,through the investigation of inorganic powder additives and special heat stabilization improvers,the problem of antistatic POM yellowing in the process of processing was successfully solved,so that the developed antistatic POM color remained milky white.In addition,by optimizing the ratio of compatibilizer and toughener,the problems of oil precipitation,insufficient toughness and low hardness were successfully solved.Successfully developed natural color extrusion grade antistatic POM has high melt viscosity,which can prevent the material from shrinkage due to insufficient melt strength in the extrusion process,excellent mechanical properties,especially good toughness,and can ensure that the material does not crack and block shedding during the later cutting process.Excellent antistatic performance,to meet customer demand for color extrusion grade antistatic POM,expands the application of POM.In addition,the black antistatic POM was preliminary studied,the effect of conductive carbon black content on the electrical and mechanical properties of POM was investigated,and the synergistic effect between conductive carbon black and permanent antistatic agent was investigated,the conductive and toughening effect of antistatic agent was utilized,and was combined with conductive carbon black for black antistatic POM. |
