In this paper,a series of ordered anodic aluminum oxide?AAO?films with different pore diameters were prepared by secondary anodization.The effects of oxidation voltage,temperature,electrolyte type and electrolyte concentration on AAO films'growth were discussed.The magnetic properties of AAO were measured by a comprehensive physical measurement system?PPMS?.The catalytic performance of AAO on methylene blue?MB?solution was tested by UV-visible spectrophotometer?UV?.The AAO/TiO2 composite film was prepared by sol-gel pulling method using AAO as carrier.The effects of the pore size and the number of pulling times on the catalytic performance were studied.The one-dimensional Co and Ni magnetic nanowires with different diameters were prepared by AC electrodeposition method using AAO as template.The magnetic properties of nanowires were studied and the growth mechanism of Co nanowires was also explored.The experimental results show that the AAO films with pore diameters of 10 nm,20nm,50 nm,70 nm,100 nm and 140 nm were successfully prepared.The 50 nm,70 nm and 100 nm films have high order degree.Different types of electrolytes have different optimum oxidation voltage ranges,and with the increase of oxidation voltage or electrolyte concentration,the pore size of AAO will increase;There is no significant temperature effect on the order of AAO at low temperature?3°C-15°C?.The performance test of the AAO film shows that the prepared AAO is a kind of ferromagnetism material at room temperature,and its saturation magnetization is about 60emu/cm3 in the direction perpendicular to the film surface.Catalytic experiments show that AAO exhibits a certain catalytic effect on MB solution,and the catalytic effect is better with the decrease of AAO pore size and the prolongation of catalytic time.The prepared AAO/TiO2 composite film effectively improved the catalytic effect of AAO on MB solution.The results show that the 50 nm composite films with one layer of titanium dioxide have the best catalytic effect.Its degradation rate on MB solution is 64%,which is much higher than the optimum degradation rate 46%of AAO.Results of Co and Ni magnetic nanowires prepared by using AAO as template show:the Co nanowires which growing in a two-dimensional planar mode are hexagonal structures with preferred orientation along the?002?thermodynamic crystal plane and the Ni nanowires are face-centered cubic structures with preferential orientation along the?220?crystal plane.Both kind of nanowires have obvious magnetic anisotropy.The easy magnetization direction of Co nanowires is parallel to the nanowire axis,and as the diameter of the Co nanowire increases,the coercive force in the direction of the parallel nanowire decreases.As the diameter of the Ni nanowire increases,the easy magnetization direction changes from parallel to the nanowire axis to perpendicular to the nanowire axis.The changes in magnetic properties of Co and Ni nanowires are related to the magnetostatic effect between nanowires and the formation of multidomain structures.
