| Epoxy resin was widely used in many field due to its excellent performance.However,EP is crisp and still belong to flammable material when it cured with DDM.To broad the application of epoxy,the stronger and flame retardancy should be modified.This paper adopts phosphoric ionic liquid modified carbon nanotubes and then added to epoxy resin compound for the preparation of composites.The flame retardancy of modified CNTs in matrix is investigated,and the properties of EP composites was aslo studied in detail.1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazole phosphoric acid ethyl ester two ionic liquids(EMIM DEP)and epoxy resin(EP)was 4,4-two amino two diphenyl methane(DDM)epoxy composite as curing agent for EMIM DEP.Study on EP curing performance,thermal stability of composite materials,mechanical properties and flame retardant the results show:EMIM DEP decreased the curing temperature of epoxy system,promote the crosslinking reaction causes the increase of heat curing.EMIM DEP can improve the performance of flame retardant and the impact of EP,when the EMIM DEP content is 4%,complex The impact strength of the composite was improved by 128%,and the oxygen index reached 29.8%..Thermogravimetric analysis showed that EMIM DEP had the flame retardant effect of condensed phaseUse ionic liquid modified the surface of CNTs by ultrasonic dispersing in acetone,then add EP cured with DDM,the composite material was prepared.The modified carbon nanotubes by EMIM DEP were characterized by Raman,FT-IR,TG.SEM were used to study The influence of EMIM DEP on the dispersion of CNTs in EP matrix and the interfacial adhesion.The effects of dosage of EMIM DEP and CNTs on the mechanical properties,thermal stability and flame retardancy of EP composites were investigated.SEM observe the char and EDS test element of char face.The cone calorimeter test heat release rate of composite.The results show that the modified carbon nanotubes uniformly distributed in the matrix of epoxy resin.EMIM DEP can be absorbed on the surface of CNTs and not change the chemical structure.EMIM DEP content is 7%,tensile strength and impact strength of composite increased first and then decreased.when the content of EMIM DEP and CNTs is 8%and 0.25%respectively,the LOI is 33.Compared to the SEM and LOI,EMIM DEP/CNTs/EP char is more fluffy,the more of LOI.With flame retardancy increased,the composite HRR is decreased. |
