Regarding the Modern welding,peopleare paying more and more attention to the evaluation on the quality of welding seam.The monitoring of welding process information and signal analysis are the effective methodsfor welding quality management.By monitoring the welding process information and collecting the actual welding parameters in the welding process,on the one hand the running status during the welding process could be detected in real time,and on the other hand the collected signal could be used as the basis of welding quality evaluation.TheMonitoring system of welding electrical signal could improve the efficiency of welding quality assessment,and it's more and more applied and developed in welding industry.Compared with the traditional welding seam quality monitoring equipment,which has the shortcoming with high cost,large in size,independent etc.,the portable quality monitoring system could improve the welding productivity and is convenient to facilitate data statistics and analysis.This thesisconducts analysis on the characteristics of electrical signals in arc welding process.Based on the characteristics of electrical signals,a set of embedded data acquisition system,which is able to collect electrical signals of arc welding process,is designed.The system mainly includes: electric current transducer,voltage sensor,embedded acquisition terminal.The embedded acquisition terminal adopts STM32 microprocessor,which has the function of SD card storage and Ethernet data transmission.By using this embedded acquisition terminal,the electrical signals of arc welding process could be collected and computed.The performance of the embedded data acquisition terminal is tested,and the result shows that the accuracy of the system is within 0.5%.In the case of sampling speed with 100 KHz,the storage speed of the SD card and the communication speed of the Ethernet could meet the requirements.The embedded data acquisition terminal of this system has high accuracy and stability,and the statistical analysis results have reference significance in some context.
