In the process of industrial application of renewable wet gas desulfurization technology, the organic amine wastewater is difficult to be biodegraded, and the wastewater will have a strong impact on the activated sludge system of sewage treatment plant. At present, the wastewater can only be treated by dilution with water, which costs high and can not fundamentally reduce pollution,so it is needed to have a proper treatment in order to reduce the cost and cut down on pollution. This paper aimed at the research on the catalytic ozonation process of the organic amine wastewater from the gas desulfurization unit of a refinery, and investigated the experimental conditions for the simple ozonation and the catalytic ozonation reaction, and determined the suitable process parameters. The catalysts were characterized by the catalytic performance, and the following conclusions were drawn by analyzing the characteristics of the catalysts and the reaction kinetics:Ozonation treatment technology has a certain effect on the degradation of organic amine wastewater with a high cost.Because of the involvement of catalysts, the ability of degradation has improved markedly. The catalytic effect of CuO/?-Al2O3 catalyst on ozonation is the best, and the COD removal rate can be accelerated by 10%.After catalytic ozonation treatment, the COD of wastewater can be reduced to 100 mg/L or less,B/C can be risen to 0.3 or more, the organic nitrogen in the wastewater can be converted into inorganic nitrogen. The catalytic ozonation reaction can greatly reduce the COD and improve the biodegradability of the wastewater.Through the analysis of the COD's change regulation, the catalytic ozonation reaction of the wastewater conforms to the apparent first order reaction kinetics.
