Application Of Plant Patterns Of Dunhuang In The Flourish Tang Period On Jewellery Case’s Enamel Decoration

The decorative patterns of plants in Dunhuang flourished in the Tang Dynasty and became perfect.Flourish Tang Period is the peak period of political enlightenment,economic development,ideological tolerance,and cultural inclusion.At this time,the decoration of Dunhuang Grottoes has entered a prosperous period.The representative ones mainly include Volume Grass Patterns,Rosette Pattern,round flower and other plant patterns.The full and orderly botanical decorative patterns not only display an attitude of vigorous scene of vitality,but also present the sense of order,solemnity and stability.This subject explores the patterns of plants in Dunhuang during the Flourish Tang Period,and researches the application and methods of combining it with enamel technology on the decoration of the jewelry case.This essay studies the combination of enamel skill and decorative plant patterns of Dunhuang during the Flourish Tang Period and its innovation in the course of practice.First of all,through the collection study of the patterns of plants in Dunhuang during the Flourish Tang Period,it explores the method of combining with modern design.Secondly,through the study of the shape and color of Dunhuang plant ornamentation in the Flourish Tang Period,the way of combining the enamel technology with the plant ornamentation in the Flourish Tang Period was explored.Once again,we try to combine the design of the Flourish Tang Period plant pattern in Dunhuang with the enamel craft to explore and practice the application of the enamel technology and enamel glaze.In the end,the result of the combination of enamel and Dunhuang plant pattern design are used on the jewelry case.
