Crushing and recovery is one of the main ways of recycling waste metal resources.This paper aims at combustion and explosion during crushing flammable and combustible dangerous waste,the hammer crusher is taken as research object.Using CFD software FLUENT,distribution of pressure and temperature in the process of gas explosion is studied,explosive protection is achieved by designing spring flame-explosion-proof vent valve.The main contents of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the gas explosion theory,the mechanism of gas explosion during metal crushing is analysed,the influences of temperature and pressure on characteristic parameters of explosion such as explosion limit,flame burning rate,explosion temperature,pressure and pressure rise rate are studied;Using methane gas as the source of explosion,explosion limit,temperature and pressure are calculated.(2)The process of gas explosion inside the body of the crusher is simulated using FLUENT to get the distribution of characteristic parameters such as temperature and pressure in the fluid field,the influence of initial temperature,initial pressure and gas concentration on the characteristic parameters of the explosion is studied.The results show that with the increase of initial temperature,the explosion temperature increases slightly,the explosion pressure and pressure rise rate decrease significantly;With the increase of methane concentration,the temperature,pressure and pressure rise rate of the explosion increase first and then decrease;With the increase of initial pressure,the explosion temperature changes little,but the pressure and pressur rise rate of the explosion rises obviously,explosion pressure and initial pressure are approximately linear.(3)Spring flame-explosion-proof vent valve for flame quenching and pressure venting is designed.Venting area is calculated according to the characteristic parameters of the explosion,design and calculation of key components such as valve wall,valve cover and spring group are carried out.(4)Using numerical simulation method,venting processes of different positions are compared.The results show that the calculated area of 500 mm diameter can achieve a good effect of explosion relief.On the basis of not destroying the strength of the structure of the crusher,the venting area should be set near the ignition center.
