With the development of the automobile industry,the number of automobiles and retired automobiles continue to increase,the re-use of retired automobile resources gradually aroused the concern of the community,China’s automobile recycling rate requirements are getting higher and higher.The concept of lightweight and the development of high-performance engineering plastics,making the types and weights of automotive plastic increasing.Automotive plastic contains a high recycling value,how to improve its recycling rate is the key to improve the automobile recycling rate,a large number of plastic components recycling,gave us a new problem.In this paper,through the development of retired automotive plastic components of the plastic shot peening and performance recovery process,to achieve the re-use of retired automotive plastic components at the same level,thereby enhancing the recycling rate of the automobile,it is good for the conservation of resources,protection of the environment,promotion of the automotive industry sustainable development,it has very important scientific value and practical significance.In this paper,firstly,the characteristics of retired automobile plastic components are analyzed,and the process route is put forward.For the plastic components with coating,the process of removing the surface coating by high speed plastic shot peening is put forward.By means of finite element analysis and physical experiment,the effects of process parameters on the removal efficiency,matrix damage and shot loss rate were studied.The aging properties of the retired automobile plastic components were revealed by the combination of macroscopic performance and microstructure test.The effects of additives and the effect of the content on the recovery of the recovered material was studied.The relationship between the modified regenerated formula and the performance of the regenerated material was studied by orthogonal test,and the modified regenerative recipe was put forward.On this basis,it was applicate on the middle of the bumper.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The characteristics of retired automobile plastic components are analyzed.In view of the difficult problem of surface coating and the recovery of properties after aging,the paper puts forward the recycling process of plastic shot peening and modified regeneration.On this basis,the recycling technology path of automobile plastic components was designed.(2)For the plastic components with coating,the process of removing the surface coating by high speed plastic shot peening was put forward.The finite element model of plastic shot peening process was established.The effects of process parameters on the removal efficiency,substrate damage and shot loss rate of the law was analyzed,on the basis,physical experiments was done to verify the feasibility of plastic shot peening process.(3)According to the working environment of retired automobile plastic components,the aging characteristics of retired automobile plastic components were revealed by infrared spectroscopy,SEM-EDS analysis,gel permeation chromatography and mechanical property test.On this basis,the influence of the types and contents of additives such as PP new materials,elastomers,inorganic fillers and compatibilizers on the recovery of the properties of recycled plastics was studied.(4)Based on the modified regeneration law of recycled automobile plastic,the relationship between the modified regenerated formula and the performance of the regenerated material was studied by orthogonal test,and the modified regenerative recipe was put forward.On this basis,it was applicate on the middle support of the bumper.The research of this paper can provide guidance for the recycling of retired automobile plastic components,which can realize the equivalent recycling and improve the recycling rate of automobile.It is of great significance to energy saving and environmental protection and promote the sustainable development of automobile industry.
