In the drilling process,well killing operation can cause pollution of the production layer and reducing oil and gas production.In order to solve these problems,domestic and foreign scholars have studied the no-killing technology.Oil and gas channeling phenomenon may occur in no-killing operation,and we should take measures to prevent this phenomenon.In the process,we can pour the gel liquid into the wellbore,and the gel valve will form.Gel valve can use its own strength to close bottom pressure,and then workover operation can carry out without killing operation.But in the field construction process,the gel breaker need to be added to the borehole,and it is a complex process.This paper researches a lot of theories and conducts many experiences,and finally we develop a new gel valve of self-breakdown and high strength and high temperature resistant.The new gel valve can close bottom pressure because of its toughness;The new gel valve is penetrable so that the drill pipe can pass smoothly;The 300 m new gel valve can bear 15 MPa when the temperature is 120?;The new gel valve can breakdown itself and the final breaking rate is about 70%.Finally,the new gel valve can solve the pressure control and gel breakdown problems.
